The issue with OP's question is the "hidden" assumption that married women do not cheat. Sadly a lot of married men are so arrogantly confident that married women don't cheat that they miss any signs right in front of their eyes. And also a man is more likely to keep it a secret if he catches his wife cheating because he takes it personally and sees it as an affront to his masculinity. This gives women who want to cheat a big advantage. |
+1. I will also add the emotional.outburst if you accuse them. But that's just an advantage that women have over men. They are very good at manipulating men. |
Well I think you are assuming “good looking” spouses are having sex. They are not having sex or it is very infrequent. |
Oh, yes, you know everyone’s bedroom situation. Men like that—high frequency, get anyone they want attractive with opportunity are doing it all the time. It hands me a laugh when the wife gets pregnant—that’s the one time, right? These men think twice a week many years into a marriage is low-to none frequency. Of course they tell the AP they don’t sleep with wife -or the AP just assumes it is like her situation and never bothers to ask. They certainly aren’t offering up that they spoon the wife and still have weekly sex—no AP wants to hear that. He has to pretend AP has a real chance with him. It’s why she hangs on so long. |
I believe this statistic. Your rationale is logical as well. I believe the rate of women cheating is higher still, however. - women are more discreet than men; I dare say “smarter” - about this at least? So less likely to get caught, and - even on fully anonymous surveys, women are less likely to answer truthfully “yes” to the question of whether they have cheated. Because: - It’s embarrassing, - there is always a chance an anonymous survey will get hacked/ revealed, - women are socialized to view sex as bad but cheating far worse, etc. In sum, young women cheat a whole lot more than society understands. |
NO. As part of Artificial Reproductive Technology (ie - IVF and fertility clinics), the male is routinely required to provide a semen-sample for laboratory analyses. Every fertility laboratory in the world provides private rooms with p@rn magazines or p@rn videos “to assist sample production.” It is normal. Both women and men see p@rn sometimes. No one believes simply seeing p@rn is cheating; that would be ridiculous. |
Nurturing love is best demonstrated by a mother. That's a well-known fact |
It is relevant in analyzing different types of cheaters and why they cheat |
Women because they can. |
Is it? or is there just a really bad dad in your family (you or your spouse?). Please show me where there is evidence that men can't nurture as well as women. They can't breastfeed, but other than that I think they've got some good potential. |
From an evolutionary perspective, “caught” likely meant “dead” so the best liars who were cheaters besides probably had an advantage. |
Which isn't actually relevant to the question of do men or women cheat more - if OP asked do mentally ill or mentally stable cheat more then maybe I'd allow it. But they did not. |
My thoughts. Leaving aside same sex affairs, I would imagine ON AVERAGE it kind of evens out. It's possible married men have more affairs with single women than married women having affairs with single men. But this would mean single women are more likely to sleep with married men, than single men are to sleep with married women. |
9/10 women on this forum would consider a spouse who is jerking off to onlyfans models as cheating |
It's true but you said it badly. The modern woman will take offence to any man insinuating that nurturing is the domain of expertise for women because it leaves the impression that only women can provide nurturing love. |
