Who cheats more: men or women?

Women COULD cheat more because they are SMARTER than men. Who gets caught far more often? MEN. Is this because women are so good at catching their husbands cheating, or because the cheating wives are so good at hiding it? Or because men are bad at hiding their affairs and men are so oblivious to problems that they don't even notice their wives are cheating? So many options.

But I don't think women cheat more often.

No, because to the "cheating" part means that you are married, not single. So a married man can be cheating with a single woman, who wouldn't be cheating.

Plus, a meaningful portion of married men might be cheating with unmarried sex workers rather than married women.

Why is it worse if a woman cheats? Makes zero sense.

Well if a married woman with kids is out banging men from old she's not giving that nurturing maternal love a child needs. She's ignoring the kids. Most likely the kids probably already call her by her first name than mom.

When I was recently divorced, I had at least two professional married women who wanted to sleep with me.

Both sexually unsatisfied men AND women will look outside their marriages to get their needs met.

Women lose their physical appeal once they hit their 30's? Are you kidding me? So many women look better in their 40's and even 50's. This is a hill I will die on. Maybe I am biased because somehow my 43 year old wife is objectively hotter than she was 10-15 years ago, and with no major physical changes (weight loss/gain, etc.).

It's why so many cheat even if they have a very good looking spouse they still have sex with: variety. Some have a compulsion/mental illness to continue to seek that outside validation and 'different' for dopamine hit. It says absolutely nothing about their spouse or state of the marriage. It's an individual problem--though they will never admit that--this personality/mental case will always justify it and blame it on anything else but themselves.

The one with multiple partners is more likely suffering from mental illness or sex addiction
