Found a hotel notepad from a hotel we've never stayed at

I think it’s more like he had had a late night with a hookup, work up late, had to take a work call and didn’t have anything else to write on with him. Threw the notepad in his bag/pocket.

I was struck by him quickly putting it away. That seem suss.

I work from home and have several notepads that I move around, take with me if I get up while talking or checking something, etc.

First, Fairmont is not that high end of a hotel. Depending on the location, it is very average. If your husband travels a lot for work, he could very easily have gone there whether to spend the night or for a meeting.

Second, you either trust your husband or you don’t. I recently found a strange woman’s underwear in the laundry. I asked DH about it. He just looked confused about the question. I showed him and he shrugged. Then he asked our teen who looked equally puzzled. Then our other son said he found it on the side of the bed at a hotel and put it in the laundry bag thinking it was mine (mom’s). Mystery solved.

Is there even a Fairmont in dc?

I know Dh and I both go to hotels for meals and meetings. We meet other people who are staying at hotels. Dh gets random crap at conferences like bags, pens, clips, chargers, notepads, notebooks. I can’t imagine getting this worked up over a hotel notepad.

I buy cute notepads and post its and they get lost kn my house all the time. I have 3 kids.

Pp here. I was just thinking if Dh had a notepad from the four seasons I wouldn’t think anything because he goes to bourbon steak. Not that this random notepad would be at his steak dinner.
