| So much misinformation and crap on this board, it’s very amusing |
| What is the deal with the Pride HS program? I see they have tryouts coming up. Looking at 2025, it appears they have three teams, a black and two whites. How did these teams do in the tournaments? |
| Curious how many Pride girls stay |
| 26 players at Pride’s ‘25 tryout last night. Guess they didn’t see the value in paying $150 to KMG for the privilege of trying out. |
| Who cares who beat who. College coaches honestly don’t care about scores. They want to see a competitive match. At the end of the day if one player from Capital or Pride ends up at the same school as a lower club player, what’s the difference. |
| Capital plays games every year. They also take players onto their orange team who sit on the bench and don't get any recruiting attention but by the time they figure that out it's too late to change clubs. People are getting smart and things are not the same since KJ left. |
But coaches do care if you play on a good team which is determined by wins and losses. Lose a lot and the team will be playing lower, less competitive teams and hence less college-coach interest. |
I hear Pride’s starting 11 were all offered a spot on Blue. |
Coaches only care if teams are competitive. |
That sounds right. If the predicted makeup was 50% Pride and 50% BLC / Stars / Metro / others, that fits with last year. |
| Interesting…. Still think Pride will end up being a strong team. Everyone who didn’t make Capital will be there on Thursday. Plenty of strong players. |
Were the rest offered a spot on Orange? |
CLC should have to pay these clubs a fee for poaching all there top players. Without these clubs developing players, CLC wouldn’t exist. You have to love free markets. |
How can you possibly argue girls who didn’t go to the clinics or private lessons for a fair look. |
| Had a fair look |
