This is why they had all of the clinics beforehand. Much like "optional" workouts in high school. Not really optional. |
I would agree with this. Capital Orange 26 will be a much stronger team than 25. |
|
What kind of club runs tryouts this way. Crazy. Really not a good look.
This poor 100 plus girls that actually thought it would be a fair tryout. Naive |
Most girls who are offered Orange will probably stay with Pride. Going from an A team to a B team (even on Capital) is perceived as a step down by most girls. |
| Who will be coaching Pride A and CLC orange. Will come down to leadership. |
| Have a defender. Do you take CLC orange or MC midnight? Not trying out for Pride bc of logistics and other reasoning. Help! Probably wasn't seen at tryouts but if she gets an offer to both -- which do you choose? Can she see roster first or coach name? |
Does she have an CLC orange offer yet? Would help to know if they are starting to go out yet. |
| I'm sorry! No offer - just hypothetical. Likely won't get one, but if she does would there be any reason to choose MC Midnight over CLC Orange? Not sure if position matters but she plays defense. |
| Go to Orange. Train hard and kick butt and make Blue next year. Defender is a slot you can sometimes move up. |
| MC 26 or Capital Orange? That is a no brainer that you go Capital. MC 26 is done |
| Not so sure - the MC girls could get shut out of the wheels are greased for stars, pride and BLC. |
| Results are out - DD didn’t get accepted so congrats to all who did! |
| Heard a bunch of girls barely got a look at tryouts- shame. |
It has to be a tough atmosphere with 100+ girls etc. |
First you have to be good, but then you need to do those CLC clinics and also work with Gussie or other private teachers who are affiliated with CLC in some way shape or form. Otherwise it is pretty easy to get lost amongst the herd. |
