Stranger Things Season 4

Hopper stuff too violent and uninteresting. I just FF through it.

11 stuff, meh. Some FF, some watching. The twist there is very predictable, unfortunately.

The main Vecna story is the only part that approaches previous seasons, though having watched episode 7 I'm concerned that's now going to be ruined as well.

End of episiode 4 is fantastic.

+1

I hope it steps up. There will likely be a season 5, so I hope they don't blow it.

There will be a season 5, and it will be the final season.

Well I didn’t even catch the name Vecna until I started reading online stuff. So the Big Reveal after social/mass media starts formally naming the monster, etc. had people narrow it down.

We are pacing ourselves and made it through Episode 4 today. That was an amazing episode, and the end, whoa. I just want to watch that last minute a hundred times.

My review would be that so far this is a really strong season, but the horror factor is ramped way up if your kids are sensitive to that or are younger.

And so much great music.

We are only on episode 2 and I'm not sure *I* like the increased horror factor!

Part 2 was so good! A little too much exposition at times, for sure. Cinematography and music were spot on this season. If they don’t sweep all awards in those categories, I’d be shocked.

I definitely did some crying. Get your tissues ready.

The Nancy actress looks like she has an eating disorder, and they are sticking her in huge clothes with huge hair to cover up how small she is.

+1 the minute I saw her in season one, I said it was so obvious she has an eating disorder. Poor girl. This is what is aging her skin. She has clearly been struggling with it for years…

its EL the only one that didn't aged 20 years?

She looks younger with the shaved head. When she’s not in character, dressed up for shows, and in full makeup, she looks older than she really is.

Will is the one I’m hoping to see the most change in. He looks so much older, but still plays his character like a little kid. It’s so awkward to watch. Or maybe he’s just a bad actor…I don’t know. From what I hear, there will be a time jump for season 5 so they can all play closer to their actual ages.

Thinking about that rumor of a time jump for season 5, it’s hard to imagine years passing after that cliffhanger at the end of this season.

It would be a very different world, I guess. Maybe more post-apocalyptic army vibe? In which case, if Will hasn’t stepped up to be a leader or something, I’ll be disappointed. Give this kid something to do other than grab his neck and look worried!

So when Max died, that was his fourth victim allowing for the upside down to come into Hawkins world!

Loved the use of “Master of Puppets.”

Total and complete yes. It’s difficult to watch her sometimes.

Probably. Somebody must be gay or gender-fluid on every show.

I just wish they would give him a better haircut and wardrobe. Nobody looked like that in the mid/late 80s. Nobody.
