| I am finding this season to be really scary. Anyone else? I had trouble going to the bathroom in the dark last night. |
It’s really very Nightmare on Elm Street. |
Back when Steve was a jerk. I had forgotten all about that. |
| Anyone else really shocked by the death of Will? Geez... |
Stop it. No such thing happened. Troll. |
Forgot that too! And speaking of Steve, how did he suddenly become hotter in the upside down? Never found him attractive at all, then he ends up in the upside down and hello. he's pretty muscular under those dopy outfits they always have him. also, kudos to ethan hawke and uma thurman b/c their daughter is a pretty darn good actress. she was great last season and even better this one. |
He is 30! Full man there saw oogle him all you want. |
| Best season since season 1. Love the four story lines in parallel. Can’t wait for final two episodes in July. |

Loved this season. Good mix of plot lines and scenery.
Horrific as well. Fantastic acting. More 1980s, more music, more gore, but all ties together and the flashbacks make it seem like it was the plan all along (but was not). |
| Watching from beginning. Billy looks so much like Rob Lowe in St. Elmo’s Fire who played a character named Billy! |
| Best line - when they’re at the computer girl’s house in Utah and one of them says “what’s the internet?” |

I’m loving watching this with my teenagers. My thoughts:
Yeah it’s not the best plot but there are several story lines and it’s keeps switching it up. Also the acting for most people is decent. Steve is kinda hot in that Adam Driver, I don’t know why but he’s hot kind of way. Matthew Modine really looks old and I feel old looking at him because I remember when he was young and hot. My one quibble: there’s no way a girl who lives in a trailer park could afford a Sony Walkman in 1986! But I guess it’s hard to have the music plot point without it. I remember pining for one but it was over $100, which was even more money back then. |
I loved that Utah scene. I felt transported back to the 80s in that house and the clunky computers. great scene. |
| I’m probably in a minority here, but I find the season (so far) to be “meh” at best. While the premise around Vecna is interesting, I feel like the season is significantly weighed down by too many plot lines and too many characters who are in too many places at once. Furthermore, the actors’ ages make the season’s timeline visually hard to accept (why not just set the season in 1988?). Maybe the last couple of episodes will be better. |
When that episode ended, I looked at my daughter and said, "I think I forgot to breathe for the last 10 minutes" and she said, "Me, too". Fantastic episode and music selection. |
