It’s the scene where he looks away in the van and sobs after telling Mike the point behind his drawing. I thought it was very moving and I hope they handle it well in the next season. I am really surprised by the homophobia in this thread. I mean, some people may think it’s not homophobia by casually saying that it’s “obligatory” and such nonsense, but that’s really what it is. If three seconds of emotion spark this kind of response, the overreaction tells you something. Anyway, let’s not spoil this thread by this stupidity. One other awesome thing about Season 4 (notwithstanding all of the faults noted by this thread, some of which I agree with) is how hot that fellow Russian prisoner is. Am I wrong?

Does a girl speak of Jaqen H'ghar?

Ohhhhhh yes……

Yup! For the longest time, I thought he looked familiar. Somehow saw a GOT meme and I was like ahhhhhhhhhhh! The actor is German and is also fluent in French, Russian, and English!

NO WAY!!!! I thought he looked somewhat familiar. And, kinda hot. Wow, mind blown.

How did the kids know that there would be working electrical outlets in the upside down?

Why can’t people just enjoy a show without griping about a supposed plot hole that’s already been mentioned in other media?

This was the worst season yet - I can't believe how many people liked it. Seasons 1 and 2 were the best, the rest, just meh.

Can't believe there is another season of this.

I thought this season was decent overall. Not as good as the earlier ones, but didn't veer into total trainwreck territory like GoT or other shows where the writers simply can't figure out how to tie up loose ends. They really upped the creep factor this season.

There were some points that really got on my nerves; mainly a) the dragged-out subplot with Hopper in the Russian prison (even though his fellow prisoner was a hottie, as PP's have pointed out), and b) Dustin and Steve joke-fighting with each other sounding really contrived after a while. But overall, still a good show and worth a weekend binge.

Just finished watching and enjoyed the season more than I thought I would- i was initially skeeved out by the 80s-style horror/gore. But I thought the direction they went this year was a good change of pace, eve if some subplots dragged on a bit too much. I was skeptical about the potential Hooper/Joyce pairing last season but am officially a fan now.

I will say I am thoroughly confused about how the upside down world works. Probably in part because I watched the previous seasons so long ago so all the various demons blur together.

I think next season is focusing more on what the upside down actually is, how it started, and how it works. I think?

I think, and hope, you are right about that. In order to defeat the upside down, the kids will have to understand it first.

Does anyone remember Stranger Things? You know, that spooky show that was a big hit a few years ago and elicited feelings of nostalgia for kids who grew up in the 80s, like me? I heard there would be a final season but haven’t heard anything in awhile. Anyone know when we’ll see season 5 and find out what happens to these kids?

Looks like it'll be a 2025 release date.
