Yup. Seems that way.

For sure racism exists. In Virginia. In Maryland. In DC. etc. It more has to do with how widespread do I think it is...which is not as much as the mainstream media would want us all to believe.

If you are a Youngkin supporter, do you think that racism exists in any form in VA today?

Overt racism?
Racial biases?
Systemic racism?

Why do you ask only to Youngkin supporters? Do you think only Youngkin supporters can be racist? OPEN YOUR EYES MAN!!

Huh? I didn’t say Youngkin supporters are racists. I was asking Youngkin supporters their thoughts about racism.

It came up in a discussion about Youngkin and CRT.

It is never a winning argument to accuse half of the country of being racists, or favoring racism, or ignoring racism. It isn't that simple. Most R's I know believe there is racism in our country, they just don't believe it is the underlying reason for every (or even the majority) of outcomes. Does it play a role in things, for sure, but not in everything.

Sadly, this discussion really only is used to play to the dem hardcore base, in my opinion.

1. Republicans aren't "half the country".

2. This thread isn't accusing Rs of being racist - just asking them to share their thoughts.

In a discussion about CRT in VA, someone said they didn't think Youngkin voters would acknowledge that racism exists and is a problem in VA today.

Except she’s a 2A nutter who wants a heartbeat ban on abortion so…

What do you mean, exactly? Write it out so everyone can see. You know, show, don’t tell.

So who cares what her race is if she’s just a POS Republican.

So the election of the first black female LTG in the Commonwealth doesn’t count for anything in your vaunted opinion? Thanks for walking straight into that statement. Unbelievable.

Well, Joe Biden says she ain’t black and he, as an old white man who eulogized a known kkk member, is the authority on who is authentically black.

Is there racism in Virginia? Do white bubble umc neighborhoods in nova exist? From Arlington to the yeehaw southern parts, wherever white folks are, there are racists.

And wherever Black folks are, or Hispanics, or Asians....

I honestly think you only feel pleasure when wallowing in discussions of racism 24/7. You'll never get what you're looking for, though.

The Democrats had a chance to nominate one of two African American women: Jennifer McClellan or Jennifer Carroll Foy. But instead, they went with the safe, white guy. So when yo tie Republicans to racism, make sure to check the mirror first.

As a white Youngkin supporter I will admit with absolute certainty there is strong racism in the area. Look no further than TJ and the FFX school board where minorities openly hate Asians and have made sure they reduce the percentage of Asians by redefining admittance to get the numbers up for the "under privileged'" who didn't work hard. In text messages obtained via FOI the one board member even "LOL'd" about how the new policy was racist towards Asians.

Oh wait, this doesn't fit the media narrative.
