What form do those efforts take? What kind of actions have been shown to have a significant effect on racism on a population wide level?

I would like to see serious reductions in racism and I make individual efforts to that end, but I don’t know what really works on a lagger level.

So your biggest concern is if efforts are effective?

No, let's just continue wasting government (read: taxpayer's) money on programs that are INeffective. No accountability needed at all - we just have to say we're "working on it." Now there's a brilliant idea.

Most people would say racism exists. The question is whether state institutions — agencies, schools — should provide training or curriculum to help people identify racism, recognize biases, and take action to correct those biases. Meaning at work at a state agency or when teaching at a public school.

IMO, the state works for everyone and should be inclusive. I’m fine with training or curricula to reduce racism or biases in schools or public institutions. I’m not expecting racists to stop being racist because they took a class, but I expect them to act appropriately at work if funded by tax dollars or be fired.
