PP, where were you in the late Spring / Early Summer of 2020 - under a rock ?

Susan Rice was in the final list of 3, which precisely why certain individuals called on favors for hit jobs on her to be run in. NYT and WAPO

So, flash forward a year and we could have had a Rhode scholar, who had a solid and well functioning track record as an assist to a recent POTUS , well known to all world leaders who has the acumen to not just follow along in an Intel or Emergency briefing , but can actually stand in

Instead of that , we have a former DA from San Francisco who is being promoted by her sister but can’t even lead her staff well - let alone the country of needed

NP here. You really undermine any credibility when you try to pretend Harris has limited qualifications for VP.

She's a former state AG and Senator, having won multiple state-wide elections in one of the largest, most diverse, and most populous states in the country. You don't have to like her, and you don't have to think California politics is representative of US politics. But referring to her by a position she hasn't held in over a decade really says way more about your bias and sexism than it does about her.

Susan Rice would have dragged down the entire campaign with Benghazi references from July 2020 - November 2020. We never would have won. Period.

Kamala Harris is a former District Attorney, U.S. Attorney General and U.S. Senator. With her on the ticket we raised $500 million in less than two months (the Biden coffers were bone dry before her announcement on August 12th).

I think she's done a fine job at home and abroad representing the U.S. and is always on the ground working. I admire that. Obviously others don't. You'll have your chance to say that in the 2024 elections. Good luck.

Can you please remind me of what elected office Susan Rice has ever held? Oh, right. None. So, in her case, higher office could include city council even. Do you people even understand the concept of representative democracy?

I also think this is the reason the Republicans are after her and were before she was announced as the Vice President nominee. They knew the Biden campaign was dead in the water until she was brought out. Had the Democrats nominated a firebrand like Bernie or an unknown like Val Demings we would have lost. They want Harris gone in 2024 for the same reason they wanted her gone in 2020 - she brings in the campaign dollars and the California PAC support.

"alongside Harris" yikes. I am hoping he drops this insufferable dimwit.

To win California you just have to win either San Francisco or Los Angeles. That’s the race. Each city has their own US Senator who could care less about the rest of the state. Not that impressive, really.

Could Greg be right? Harris nudged out and doesn't really mind because she becomes filthy rich off book, speech, netflix, etc. deals?

No one is interested enough inVP Harris to buy a book about her. Megan's appeal is he proximity to royalty.

Seems reasonable given that she thinks the work she's been assigned as VP is beneath her. She's a lightweight more interested in the spotlight than the work.

This is the best they have. Keep in mind, it would take Kamala 100 years of buying these to catch up to one Stormy Daniels payments, or 60 years to buy one Melania jacket.

Such racist faux outrage.

Oh, there is plenty more scandalous.

Tell us about it, if you know so much.

I think she has failed at what should have been her number one job—promoting the presidents domestic agenda, basically being an administration cheerleader, while he is busy fixing the absolutely flipping mess he was left to deal with on some other very serious fronts. I don’t know if it’s her fault she’s not doing a good job there or not. Regardless I think he wins if he runs with her again. Unless he puts her on the Supreme Court and runs with Pete. I’d take that.

Umm, since when is that the Vice President's job? Now you're making things up. That wasn't Cheney - the warmonger's job. That wasn't Pence - do nothing and keep the evangelical's in line job. I can't remember what Al Gore's job was. Biden's job was to sell Obama overseas and help in the Senate.

Republicans are just pissed she brings in the cash and the crowds. Weird Democrats are pissed because she's not some non-entity that they can send off to Iowa to calm the farmers like Tim Kaine was supposed to be.
