Political Discussion
I am not at all surprised if this is even partially true, given her presidential campaign.

| I’m shocked, I tell you - shocked! |
| I guess the Biden team is leaking so the Harris team cleans up its act. |
| What's the end game here? I'm intrigued. Why run a hit piece on Kamala now? Are they trying to get her to resign to get someone more popular in place for a 2024 run? |
| Flournoy’s toxic af. This is no secret in DC. |

So toxic she can’t even feign it.
“We are not making rainbows and bunnies all day. What I hear is that people have hard jobs and I’m like ‘welcome to the club,’” Sanders added. |
Symone Sanders was forced on the VP team after Bernie lost twice in 2016 and 2020. Honestly I don't know how she got the job seeing as she wasn't a campaign lead for either Biden nor Harris but still thinks she's above the job. |
| The Democrats prove short-sighted again? Is water wet??? |
Um, Symone Sanders was a senior advisor on Biden’s 2020 campaign. She was there the whole time. |
No. She was not. She joined in April 2020 when the headwinds changed with Covid and a full-year after the official Biden campaign began. |
No, she joined in April 2019. 2019 and 2020 are different. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/symone-sanders-joe-biden-campaign_n_5cc2141ce4b031dc07efc3f4 |
Wait, you're right - nevermind. |
This is run of the mill stuff. |
Agreed. Politico is a political gossip outlet. Its a high-end people magazine (that does some great work occassionally). This is fairly standard. Its quite easy to find a staffer whos frustrated and willing to talk a little trash. On the other hand, Harris is the next in line and the likely nominee in 2024 or 2028. This isn't a good sign. |

The problems she is having are just like the ones she had during her presidential campaign. Did Joe think these issues would just disappear as his VP?
Different personnel, same problems. Maybe the issues aren't the staff............ I just hope Joe makes it for 4 years. November 2019 How Kamala Harris’s Campaign Unraveled Ms. Harris is the only 2020 Democrat who has fallen hard out of the top tier of candidates. She has proved to be an uneven campaigner who changes her message and tactics to little effect and has a staff torn into factions. In early November, a few days after Senator Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign announced widespread layoffs and an intensified focus on Iowa, her senior aides gathered for a staff meeting at their Baltimore headquarters and pelted the campaign manager, Juan Rodriguez, with questions. UpdateKamala Harris has dropped out of the 2020 race. What exactly was Ms. Harris’s new strategy? How much money and manpower could they put into Iowa? What would their presence be like in other early voting states? Mr. Rodriguez offered general, tentative answers that didn’t satisfy the room, according to two campaign officials directly familiar with the conversation. Some Harris aides sitting at the table could barely suppress their fury about what they saw as the undoing of a once-promising campaign. Their feelings were reflected days later by Kelly Mehlenbacher, the state operations director, in a blistering resignation letter obtained by The Times. “This is my third presidential campaign and I have never seen an organization treat its staff so poorly,” Ms. Mehlenbacher wrote, assailing Mr. Rodriguez and Ms. Harris’s sister, Maya, the campaign chairwoman, for laying off aides with no notice. “With less
