Help me understand Republican women in their 30s and 40s

But they didn’t realize the cowboy archetype embodied an array of attributes that many Americans found admirable. Contemporary Democrats make the same mistake with the term “MAGA.” They think it is a one-punch knockout, when in fact there are tens of millions of Americans who LIKE the values it represents. The lone man fighting against the corrupt system & being mocked by smug dandies (Democrats, Macron, Trudeau etc) is exactly what people like about Trump.

And his recent sham convictions only make him look more like Gary Cooper & John Wayne taking on the mob.

I don't think Dems think they are pulling any gotchas calling someone MAGA. Gotcha is a GOP thing. Indicative of their lack of maturity and inability to actually argue based on any facts. It's is simply a handy label for members of the cult of Trump.

This image you speak of is all based on LIES and is patently absurd. Anyone who sees Trump in this way is absurd. MAGA = absurd beliefs.

You must be a smug idiot to think women can just ward off rapists.

Aren’t you one of the people that think it’s fine for imprisoned women to be cell mates with convicted rapists and male sex offenders? Don’t you believe the imprisoned women can just ward off the rapists who now identify as women and share their cells? Why would this be any different? At least the PP has a gun.

Time to stop drinking and get out of mommy's basement.

So yes, you believe women prisoners should be imprisoned with convicted male rapists who now identify as women. Got it.

Moron. No one wrote that.

Yep. Seems like some angry right winger is hard at work strawmanning and sock puppeting tonight.

We are still waiting for the PP who resorted to name-calling (“Moron.”) to come out and state that he fully opposes housing biological female prisoners with transwomen convicted of rape or sexual assault, and that he is opposed to the political party that is supporting that policy.

No one is answering you, because this is a non issue that you made up. Part of the "Dem platform"? Absolute BS.

It doesn't matter how many times you post utter BS, it remains utter BS.

We have a terrible maternal death rate, that is exponentially worse for Black women. Women have lost access to safe health care and voting rights.

I also feel sad for the one trans woman we know who is at least 6’2 or 6’3”. She has an amazing family and is a mother of teens and would never hurt anyone. That she has to deal with this level of hate is incredible.

Democrats always think they own feminism. Nope. Look at the number of disrespectful comments here from liberals insisting GOP women are misled or following their husbands.

- Feminist Republican

Sorry. You’re actively supporting the party that wants to erase women’s rights entirely. You are not a feminist.

And you are supporting the party that wants to erase women entirely. You are not a feminist either.

+100. One party wants to take away my right to decide my fate if I get pregnant. The other party wants to erase me entirely so men can steal my identity. Two awful choices, but erasing me in every aspect of life is worse. Dems can get bent.

This is nonsense. Acknowledging trans people isn’t “erasing” women.

You should definitely keep telling voters that you want to attract to your party that their worries and concerns about their own erasure are “nonsense.” That’s certainly a winning strategy for you! 👍

I don’t work for the Biden campaign. So are you going to explain how you’re being erased? Is the eraser in the room with us now?

I’m female. I have faced sexual violence because of my body, like millions of women throughout history.

Democrats now demand that I pretend that violence against females doesn’t exist, and that I prioritize the feelings of men over my physical safety. They tell me that my identity as a woman, including all that I have endured by virtue of being a woman, is open for colonization by men, and in fact men are better at being women than women born female.

That’s erasure. And you cannot stomp your feet and tell me that it is not happening.

Except...it's not happening. No one is denying sexual violence against females is happening.

And... the GOP is supporting a known perpetrator of sexual violence against multiple women as their POTUS candidate.

So...your righteous anger rings a little hollow. Because it is nonsense.

Just another shining example of how you cannot be a Republican women in today's world without being delusional. Completely disregarding reality.

As much as democrats might believe, abortion in and of itself, does not outweigh all of the issues you listed in the minds of many women. Women who are in their late-30s and 40s aren't focused on abortion as much as they are those issues. On crime, they want to keep their families and communities safe. On women's sex-based rights, if they have girls they want them to have fairness in sports. On ideological capture of elite institutions, they want a good education for their kids that will allow them to get jobs to afford the same lifestyles they grew up with. On education and free speech, they want to have differing viewpoints available, even if they don't agree with them.

I would vote for the two of you PPs. Well said.

Except that the current crop of conservative GOP politicians won't actually help you with any of these things. They won't. They just use things like trans women to stoke your emotions.

And BTW, all women, regardless of political party, want to keep their families and communities safe. Every one. They all want good education for their kids and for their kids to find good jobs. All of them. Do you believe otherwise?

Republican women have delusions of superiority. And yet so unaware of reality. The GOP has been dismantling the education system for decades. They don't give a fig about your kids. Wake up.

What dem here has reduced you to just your ovaries? If that was somewhere in this thread, and wasn't just some obvious trolling, then I missed it.

Meanwhile, it's actually conservatives who are the ones who through policy want to reduce you to your ovaries and just being a baby machine. And fixing them a sandwich in the kitchen, per conservative sports figures.

It seems there are some disagreements about what constitutes good schools and safe neighborhoods. I suspect this is the reason why so many are turning away from Democrats.

Well, a whole bunch of women voters learned in the pandemic that the Democrats don’t give a fig about their kids, either, so that threat doesn’t really work for Democrats any more.

Does yelling at women that they are delusional in an effort to persuade them often work for you? It seems ineffective to me, but you do you.

Housing transwomen prisoners with biological women is in fact Democratic state policy in many blue states.

10-20% of pregnancies end in a known miscarriage. That’s not including all of the early unknown miscarriages.
That’s an uncomfortably high percentage of women facing denied healthcare in their red state due to draconian abortion bans. They want to force these laws on the entire nation with a federal ban.
That’s approximately a million women every year in the US at risk due to extreme laws enacted by “pro life” republicans.
How many years is a woman fertile? How many years does she play roulette with those laws?
I agree that men identifying as women should not be housed in prisons but the entire female prison population of the United States is approximately 90,000.
When I look at risk calculus I’m more immediately concerned for my daughter’s health.

Because they didn't want their kids catching Covid at school then spreading it to their parents and grandparents?

Teacher here, please don’t use me in your debate. Schools are in complete crisis here and are a free for all. Teachers are leaving and no one is going into teaching. I’ve pulled my own kids and they now attend private schools. This is not because of Covid but current policies that are happening in public schools that result in low academic standards and no discipline.

Woman who are married tend republican because things like school choice, not allowing p*rn in schools, not allowing drag queens reading books to kids, not allowing kids to be victims of genital mutilation and be sterilized (which the “contraceptive bill” had, which is why GOP voted it down), keep money here in the US to help a failing education system, unchecked massive illegal alien migration, massive inflation due to poor economic policies, not being put on FBI watch lists because you don’t want transgender stuff taught to your kids in elementary schools…the list goes on.

The people that are usually Democrat women or really liberal are usually not married and guys aren’t into marrying them either. They tend to be combative and hate men. So those women tend to be alone and miserable when they get older because they have no family to care for. I think a lot of it is jealousy as they would like to have a family but don’t. So they think the government should be their family.

At the end of the day most people want to be left alone for the most part and do what’s best for their husband wife and kids. Most liberal women don’t have that so they don’t realize what it’s like .

Huh? Suburban soccer moms help elect Biden to the white house in 2020. Most moms don't want trump anywhere near their families.
