In U14 they are in same pool so they will play head to head. In U13 it’s unlikely they will play each other but it is possible. |
| Black Ops will crush Monuments. No question. |
I would hope. 3 clubs coming together to form 1 team. It should. |
| Wasn't the reason BO was formed is because BLC didn't have enough players to form a team with all the holdbacks? |
| Ok Madlax parent.... |
| You didn’t answer the question. So that’s a yes. ^^^^^ |
| No, that's not why Madlax parent...why don't you worry about beating LIE...oh, that's right, you can't. |
| Are you sure?? If not, then why join up? You didn’t have enough players on age...And from what I understand, you guys need to worry bout beating LIE too. |
| The 2025 NL and DC Express Elite teams are made up of a lot of kids who did not qualify because of age. I think that's the same for MadLax Cap - plus the MadLax team that won nationals did so with at least two players from out of the area. In my opinion, which doesn't count for anything, each club should have put together their own club team to play - there are plenty of 2025 players on the A and B teams at NL and DC Express who would qualify to play 14U. There are great players on the B teams who absolutely can compete at the elite level and who would have loved the experience. Why not give more kids the chance to compete at higher levels? |
Were the “elite” B teams players not allowed to try out for black ops? If they are elite they would be on the BLC and NL teams that play in the Elite Division. H |
The Next Level and the BLC B teams are different than most B teams. Typically it’s size and age that keep kids off the A team at U14, not skill and lacrosse IQ. Once puberty hits and most kids catch up in size, a lot of current A team players won’t be “elite” any longer. |

You completely missed the point. Clubs should have fielded the best teams they could with their own players and let the chips fall where they may. Then, more 14U and 13U kids would have had the opportunity to participate. Also, lacrosse should be age based instead of grade. As the above poster mentioned, there is a huge difference between a 13 year old and a 15 year old - and yet all can play at 2025. Excited to see Black Ops in action next weekend. |

The elite B team players did try out for Black Ops...there were 60-70 boys at each Black Ops tryouts and not just from NL, DCE, and VLC...even some, gasp, MadLax helmets were out there.
Some of the member clubs have kids on the Monuments team and they never tried our for Black Ops. I know one family just wanted to get an idea of a different program. Nothing more. Ton of talent out there at 2026 & 2025 classes. Home for eveyrone. |
| "All players must compete with their team or program on a regular basis. Players cannot be added only to participate in the WSYL and teams cannot be formed out of a partnership or alliance between two or more standalone clubs. The intention of this rule is prevent the formation of all-star teams for the purpose of participating in the WSYL." |
| You should call the WSYL police they will probably disqualify VLC and MADLAX and give them a refund...bwahahahaha |
