People need to wake up!

I'd like to know what percentage of MCPS students are actually undocumented...though I know it is impossible to know. I have a feeling the number is much smaller than people on this thread would expect. Whole new schools?? There are plenty of horrible incidents at schools involving citizens..

At Barnsley, our staff is doing a Community Outreach Event at the Crystal Springs apartment on Tuesday afternoon.

Can't say for sure, but likely that the 18 year old attacker lived at the Crystal Springs apartment complex. Articles have noted that he lives in an apartment on Bel Pre Road and there are not that many apartments on Bel Pre that feed into Rockville HS.

Not saying they shouldn't do anything, but the issues presented here will not be solved by Community Outreach initiatives and Staff Diversity training.

Depends on which school and which area of the county. We are at a high Farms/high ESOL school and some of DC's classmates have definitely been illegal immigrants over the years.

A reporter tweeted out the warrant for the arrest that described the rape - the above description is mild compared to the actual description by the investigators.

They don't need teachers and the principal visiting the apartment complex. They need the police to investigate whether this asshole raped any more victims at the apartment complex.

We are discussing one deplorable incident, which involves dumb policy by MCPS where it could be foreseen that a problem would arise. How could mcps have forseen this horrific incident would happen? Plenty of illegal immigrant children are respectful, try to follow the law, and go on to be quit successful. How do you tell which person is going to commit a crime?
