| CUP CHECK! Frederick County HS kid with a ruptured testicle from a slash! Required surgery at Children's Hospital in DC. Most of the boys are not wearing cups according to my son (including him). Put the word out! |
Holy Crap! I would kill my son if he didnt wear a cup. I want grandcildren one day (wayyyyy in the future). |
| How about the boy lacrosse players at least wear spandex instead of boxers!!! |
Final score Landon 16-SSSAS 11 |
|
Landon/SSSAS were tied at the half at 6. It was a fun game to watch, though mighty cold for April 7!

| How did STA prep go? I know prep won but what were details of each team |
|
Prep beats Sta 7-5.
STA was leaving at halftime. |
| Saints were much stronger than anyone on Landon side believed they would be. Great coaching by new staff--this was a competitive game until the last few minutes. |
|
It was a competitive game until the last minute of the 3rd quarter. Bears were up by 5 goals heading into the 4th.
To the Saint's credit, they would not quit. I believe they scored early in the 4th quarter to make it a 4 goal deficit but Landon responded very quickly to keep a 5 goal cushion. I believe at one point Landon had a 6 goal lead in the 4th. Despite the final score, I did think the game was closer than most would have imagined. |
| How much poaching of players goes on among these schools. I knew a lacrosse player from one of the schools discussed on this thread who transferred to another school discussed in this thread which has a stronger lacrosse team, but is arguably not as strong academically. Do these schools recruit players away from one anothet? |
Landon and Bullis do. The other four schools do not poach from each other. |
