Disgusting.

Yep. Look at that glowing family picture of the guy who murdered his (pregnant!) wife and two kids vs a woman who had an abortion’s mug shot. And there are people who claim with a straight face that the media is “liberal.”

Kentucky’s 15-week ban is written so poorly/broadly that the only two clinics in Kentucky feel that they cannot continue to operate.

Wow. They only had two clinics in the entire state?

This can’t possibly surprise you.

Yes, and they’re both in Louisville.

If someone only reads/watches the gop water-carrying mainstream media’s take, they will not understand how fragile abortion rights are. If women did understand the fragility of our recently-clawed rights, they’d never buy the forced birth lies or vote Republican ever.

When legal abortion is no longer accessible, abortions go up and more women die. Which was the point for forced birthers from the beginning.

The right wing in the US is no different than the Taliban.

Sad.

Why are people who are not medical doctors dictating medical decisions? This has far more implications than just those who don't want to have children. There are many many wanted pregnancies that medically necessitate abortion.

Also the gray line now created between miscarriage and abortion scares the fk out of me. And it should for any other woman in this country.

This is not a moral issue, it is a medical issue and these legislators don't have a clue what tf they are talking about!

The forced birth women of childbearing age still haven’t figured this out yet (the forced birth women past child bearing age just don’t care). They’re the same women who victim blame rape victims and they somehow think their “goodness” will protect them.

It won’t. Misogyny is for all women.

Free, on-demand abortions would cause child poverty to drop to nil.

But that’s a negative for CEOs who need poor, desperate laborers.

Also, for the pro-life folks, see the “cost of having an infant threads.” People have to budget for basic things like formula and clothes. You have rich folks buying clothes on Thredup for the baby because of how expensive childcare is.

But the thing is, women forced to bear children they don’t want aren’t necessarily going to treat them well, and even if they do, the woman and her existing children are going to suffer. It’s just an unnecessary nightmare all around.

pro choice = pro child abuse?

It’s a running theme that is sickening. Not all pro choice people think child abuse is ever an option.

You are being dense.

What happens is thus: people who are forced to have children they don't want resent them. It's human nature. The parents are angry, there's not enough money typically, there may have been a forced marriage.

They try to love these unwanted children they were forced to have, buy the gun the forced bithers put to their head wrecks the parent child relationship.
