Not many, if any, conclusions should be drawn from abbreviated scrimmages. Pretty sure all squads were experimenting in various ways. Best judge of how scrimmages would be how coaches felt at end of day. I am sure, Bullis coach, SSSAS coach and Potomac coach all have their own interpretation of how day went and hopefully they got something out of it. That's all that these scrimmages purpose is.

Agreed. Pretty sure KJ is not concerned about her W-L record or scores in scrimmages.

Many teams used these first week scrimmages as tryouts for final roster adjustments. All teams sub a lot and play kids in different positions. It doesn’t mean anything but a 6-1 Potomac over SSSAS score is still very interesting. Like many have said in this chat, this is Potomac’s year. Besides talented players, they also have an all-star coaching staff. ISL will be very fun to watch this Spring.

ISL will be interesting this year. Wouldn't surprise me if Visi came in fourth behind SSSAS, Potomac and SR. Visi is good too, but the other 3 may be better.

Only thing interesting in the WCAC will be who comes in 3rd or 4th - BI or PVI. GC is a lock for first and SJC lock for second place.

I don't know about this. Which ISL school do you think is capable of sliding in as number 4--assuming SR, Potomac, and SSSAS are 1-3 (in some order)?

Visi has 8 commits to good schools and perhaps the best player in the DC area. Couple of good freshman too. I would expect there to be a battle for the top 4 for sure, but Visi could sneak in, so I'm with the sleeper camp.
