What life? Covid screwed over most students the past year.

Most of her freshman year was normal. She had seen enough of depressing Ann Arbor. Plus public U kids were being thirsty and using her for social media clout.

Half of her freshman year was normal. The rest of her time was not. You’re the same troll that calls A2 depressing in every thread.

You are spending an unhealthy amount of time on a message board if you think everyone is the same person. UMich shut down in mid March 2020. The semester ended April 20th. And Ann Arbor is a depressing place. Sorry you're stuck there, romaniypsieyes.

You are spending an unhealthy amount of time on the message boards. You even think that I’m romanigypsieyew, whoever the hell that is.

Way to out yourself, nutjob. Nobody typed gypsy. You did. Because that's your college confidential username, where you're a moderator and have like 100k posts. You don't live in the DMV, you've never lived in the DMV. You're a Michigan lifer. Stop spamming this forum with your crap.

You’re a certifiable lunatic. I quickly typed that stupid name you wrote and didn’t even check to verify it. In any case, I’m not that person you’re taking about. I have no idea who you’re talking about. I just know you incessantly criticize Michigan. If anybody is spamming, it’s you. You keep anti-Michigan threads going all on your own. Pathetic!

Ann Arbor is like a trailer park compared to Southern California. The dozens of blocks around U-M's campus are called a "student ghetto" because it's nothing but run-down sh*tshacks. The vibes couldn't be more different.

This is beyond ridiculous. The miles around USC are literally ghetto.

+1. I went to grad school at Ann Arbor. It is fine for a college town, but it is nothing like LA.

USC neighborhood is nothing like Westwood either. Who cares?

What a nasty immature statement. I pity you.

How many of the 100 would want to go to Charlottesville? Or a number of other locations. What a stupid comment, but I see you’re full of them with every posting.

Why does this dumb comparison between LA and Ann Arbor keep coming up? It is beyond strange that there is a poster who thinks that everyone secretly wants to go to college and live in LA or some other "Sun Belt" location. The realities are that many many people like seasons. Separate from that, many many people have a strong dislike for Southern California. And many college age kids want to go to college in a quintessential college town.

These are established realities, as opposed to the subjective fantasies of someone who can't stop commenting on this message board.

Southern California is so crowded and expensive and the traffic is terrible. I don't want to live there. My kids don't want to go to school there. They're much more into Chicago or Denver or Portland.

I could see 20 or 25 or so choosing UVA. Charlottesville is much nicer than the rust belt.

This is a rust belt cope. And it's not even applicable to students, who are only in a region from Sept to April.

You truly are mentally unstable. Seriously…..

Seems this forum has been taken over by a couple of Michigan nutters from College Confidential who are used to banning people who criticize the university or region. Go back to your echo chamber.

I agree with the previous poster. “You are truly mentally unstable. Seriously…..”
