Most illegal immigrants do not jump the border. They arrive legally (student or tourist visa), then overstay. How do we stop those?

No visas, student or otherwise, until we get this under control.

Now, do you have a practical solution instead?

Mine is to conduct a full security review of every MCPS school, and increase staffing/spending on that area. I have no idea how to fix it (more cameras? more security in the halls?) but it's something we can reasonably accomplish in a very short period of time.

More money, why am I not surprised that you would suggest that? Let's give them more money so the schools can continue to decline and a generation of children are thrown under the bus while we try to save the world. If they are here illegally they are already criminals bc they did not abide by the laws to get here. What kind of example is that setting to our youth? That certain people are allowed to break the law, live for free and get away with it while the rest of us pay our way and follow laws? Why is this allowed? The note says that they are working with the school community. Is there a meeting or a Town Hall scheduled anytime soon at the school? We are zoned for Rockville HS but still have young kids. Have not heard anything.
