How many girls from Stars, Pride and NL have any chance of making Cap Blue?

Meant to add from 2028.

Where else will cap blue get talent from if it's not from those clubs? Typically cap blue gets BLC, but their 28 program is currently nonexistent.

Current teams would probably break down like this:

Stars: 4
Pride: 4-5
NL: 3

The 28 year in Northern VA is somewhat weak.

Numbers seem low. Where are the 9 other girls coming from?

Stars-6/7
Pride-6/7
Next Level-3/4
Other-2:5

Please tell us WHY you think Pride 2028s will leave for Stars next year. Thank you.

Because it happens every single year - the families at Pride in the know try out privately with Stars and make the move after 7th grade. The families who aren’t included are left behind and the team implodes. Literally every year.

This would have been a smart comment when Stars was the primary Capital feeder, which is no longer the case. The top 2028 Pride girls are already on a much better team and have a clear path to Capital. They are not moving to Stars after 7th grade.

CavLax is usually good for 2 or 3 per year. The old Cavalier team uses to get a girls or two. Buy since the pride merger, I assume they will all be coming from Pride.

That was said about the 2027s too - same exodus happened this year.

Honest question to pp: do you actually know who these girls are from each team is this a simple estimate? If the latter, why does NL only have 3? Not saying you are wrong, just curious.

These posts are what's wrong with this forum. There is no secret tryouts at Stars for Pride players. The most recent 27 tryouts, the Pride players came to tryouts and that's it. The best players from Pride didn't come over though. Same with the 28s. 1 player left pride mid season for Stars and 1 made the switch at tryouts. Neither were in prides top 5 players though.

People can think or believe what they want but facts are the best Pride players didn't leave the 27 team or the 28 team.

And the questions about who would make Capital from those teams. It's a pretty easy task to watch them all play in tourneys and NGLL. Easy to see who the good players are (very few) and most who are not.

Whoever keeps trying to spread nonsense that Stars will be some super team next year is in for a surprise when it doesn't happen.

What he/she said! Also, girls change so much in 2 years. I’d even go out on a limb to say some may even to chose to try another sport and not even tryout for Capital. A LOT OF TIME between now and then, a lot of time for no name girls to develop and for the girls who are great now to plateau. Parents need to CHILL THE EFF OUT!

The only thing that people will see next year is that SW is still the head of the club and they still remain non competitive.

Whoa! Sounds like you need to calm down. It’s a stupid thread on girls’ lacrosse where bored parents like to chat. Don’t like it, don’t read it.

Three 26 girls left Pride for Stars and 1 25 left Pride for Stars the year before that. Considering that over 10 Pride girls have made CLC B the past two years I am not certain why people think Pride girls have to spend a year at Stars to improve their chances of making CLC B? It appears that pattern is continuing with the 27's.
