Ok I need someone to explain to me the timeline - in Nov 2019 his car dealership was raided - was it raided because of the child porn (which was said to be downloaded in May 19?) - and if yes, did HE know why he was raided and has he been walking around for 18 months waiting to be charged? I’m sure he lied to Anna if he knew but can someone explain? It seems like a long time from raid to charges being filed

His car dealership was almost certainly raided in connection with the property fraud lawsuit he lost last year (in the court papers, there’s evidence of some level of criminal investigation). There were also some rumors of immigration violations (appeared to have been started by the aggrieved party in that lawsuit; no idea if accurate or not). I would place good money on the fact that they found the CP images incidentally during that investigation while examining his hard drive. This is actually not unusual in CP possession cases, because it’s such a hard thing to get enough evidence of for a warrant without already having access to a defendant’s computer.

^^ Oh and the delay is not unusual. The case would have been handed off to a different team and that team probably would have been trying to find evidence of further offenses/not wanting to tip off other players in the same CP ring, so they need to get the evidence against everyone they wanted to charge nailed down pre-moving on any of them.

I agree that it’s most likely the 2019 raid was unrelated to CP, but his various shady business stuff. That they found CP with implicitly expecting to as actually more disturbing in some ways - he was probably at this for a long time. Ugh.

She was the only other adult who did not protect her kids. Child services will take them away. She should be in jail. She knowingly had more children with a known child molester.

Well, they were living with someone who had a record of sexually abusing children in his own family, so there’s definitely a chance they were in danger.

So please, give us your full name, and your spouse's full hame, so we can imagine all sorts of charges against you, and "hold you accountable" for what could potentially have happened, with no proof.

Let me help you out. Here’s the difference: I didn’t marry and then stay with a man who molested his sisters or any other young girls, and my husband wasn’t just arrested for child porn.

But yes, any parent who knowingly allows their children to be sexually abused could lose custody. Even women who were in cults or whatever.

I don't know how porn works but is it possible he mistakenly downloaded the images? Or would he knowingly have had to download them as cp? I sadly think he probably knowingly did it, but was wondering how it works. Either way, he should be locked away without access to any kids. I sadly don't think there is much hope for child predators.....they don't seem to have luck with reform.

LOL. No. You have to really, really search this stuff out. Have you ever mistakenly downloaded something that turned out to be child porn? Yah, no, me neither. It's like saying, "could you place an order for Febreeze from Amazon and end up with 60 kilos of cocaine?" That's not happening- you have to go to the deep web to find this stuff. Also, he distributed it.

It’s 2 counts. One for receiving and one for possessing. So someone could have emailed him one picture and that picture could be saved to his “downloads” folder on his computer. This could all be about one image.

Even one image is one image too many, but there’s a wide range of behavior that Josh could be accused of here.
