Their families were both in the ATI scene and probably met at one of their conferences. Everyone who followed the Duggars at the time thought it was odd that the oldest son of probably the most prominent family was marrying a prison pastor’s daughter who grew up in a trailer in Florida, but I’m sure the accusations against Josh were talked about in their circles, and JB and Michelle probably thought Anna was the best they could do. |
Anna is only as stuck as she wants to be. I bet she could take her 7 kids, leave, set up a go fund me, get lots of money, write a book about her experiences and get Jill Duggar's newly minted lawyer DH to file suit against Jim Bob for pay for appearing on the show. She could reach out to Jill or Jinger Duggar - the two that have left - or the cousin Amy King - and say I want out - can I stay with you until I get things sorted out - and I have no doubt they find a way to make it work if she is sincere. In addition, she has her own family members who have said publicly in the past they would help her. Further, a true mainstream regular run of the mill Christian church - not a fundamental church which preaches the patriarchal stuff - would help her out for a short while. Think of the regular churches around our area that provide rent assistance and food - that is what I am talking about |
I think you're absolutely right, practically. But I suspect she doesn't have the gumption to believe it's possible, with Jim Bob and Michelle telling her not to and feeling responsible for her kids. I don't like it, but I bet she continues to stay with them and they make a big deal out of raising their grandkids. |
| 12 year sentence ! |
Jinger has not really "left." She wears pants and lives in California but she has not had a public falling out with her family like Jill has. And no way would Jeremy let Anna and her 7 kids move in with them. |
|
Yeah, she absolutely looks pregnant. I've heard people say she might just be carrying additional baby #7 weight, but the rest of her looks thin-is and that is just an unmistakeable baby bump.
Man. What a shame. |
| The Sun video shows her walking/practically running out of the courthouse and she definitely looks pregnant. I can't wait for the tell all book or limited series on this family. I know it's coming. |
| Anna Duggar doesn't strike me as someone who would want to wear a mask. But if she were pregnant...maybe. |
You can hide a lot of emotion behind a mask too. I just watched the video of her leaving court and yeah, she looks pregnant. Dang. 8 kids, a deadbeat husband and you're in a cult. That won't be easy. |
|
Her youngest baby was only 6 weeks old the last time Anna was alone with Josh!
Not impossible, but very early to get pregnant again--all her other children are spaced about 2 years apart. |
The truth. |
Needs must, and all that. It's probably her last chance to have a baby, and most Quiverfulls wouldn't be done at just 7! |
People conceive while breastfeeding all the time. |
