This. The only ones with money is JimBob and Michelle. Jill had to sue JB to get a part of her share of the TLC money because for years she had NO IDEA they were being paid for doing the show. Fking trash parents and all-around humans.

Anna is really stuck. She has no education, 7 kids, and comes from an extremely poor family. Her parents live in small trailer in Florida - there's no way they can support her and her children. I think her best option is to get a book deal and provide a tell all about what really happens in that house. Of course she never will.

Jim Bob is a control freak - a truly evil man. He cut off his daughter, Jill, from the house and family because she decided to wear pants, get a nose ring, and drink alcohol occasionally. Jill was molested by Josh. Jim Bob has chosen to support and defend his child-porn addicted, molester son, Josh, over Jill.

The children were not paid for their time on the TLC shows. Jill had to sue Jim Bob for payment on the show that featured her - Counting On. Ultimately, she got paid $500-$1000 per episode for a short period of time. Jim Bob has profited off of his children and purposely withheld money that was rightfully due to them to control them.

Yeah, they attended conferences together. Josh was actually engaged/betrothed to another girl before he met Anna. The engagement broke off when the girl's family learned that Josh molested his sisters, and one other girl. Anna was the next girl in line - not Josh's first choice. Josh and his family were already on TV at the time - it's alleged that Anna was a big fan of the Duggars and their show. For Anna, Josh was a big catch. Fundie royalty...and much wealthier than her family. She stated Josh told her about the molestation charges prior to their marriage - I have to wonder how forthcoming the Duggars were, and how desperate Anna must have been to be willing to overlook it.
