The best players play for as many teams as they desire. If a player feels all star plus high school
Team is all they have bandwidth for, and they are good enough to do that, then so be it. If a player loves the sport so much that they are prepared to commit the time to play for high school, club, and all star team, then more power to them. Each kid has to live their own life and there is no right or wrong path in all of this. Just let these kids play, have fun, and stop obsessing. The kids are definitely not obsessing the way the parents are.

Why is it "VLC" Black ops? I thought it was all three teams?

No one cares if you don’t get it.

Check tourney machine, Black ops games do not conflict. Nothing being taken away. DCE, NL, VLC remain intact and continue as normal with all of their players.

Two rounds of tryouts and open to all in area within the right age band. And its definitely not equal between the clubs or even exclusive of the three founding clubs.

Depends on the age group. My understanding is that 13U is more likely to sway towards Black Ops. At 14U, ML has the bulk of its 2025 team so will be a much stronger contender.
