And this is really the problem for Trump nationwide. The RNC is a total cluster-f right now because Trump installed his own people, none of whom have the slightest idea what they're doing (Lara Trump especially). Meanwhile, he's just rambling incoherently at his ego-boost rallies and picking a VP candidate who brings absolutely nothing to the ticket.


The FEC recently changed campaign rules to allow outside groups to do the GOTV activities that used to be done by campaigns. Trump/RNC have outsourced it, funded by rich donors, I'm sure.

So here's what I'm wondering---how many of these privatized GOTV groups are just grifting---skimming huge amounts for overhead with little left for actual boots on the ground work. Not that ANY of MAGA-world would ever grift . . . .

If she’s going to get PA, it will be on her own, she doesn’t need the state’s gov to carry the state. I like Shapiro a lot but his previous statements are a distraction in this current political environment. People have short memories though and who knows what the landscape will look like in ~10 years, when he’ll be 61 - a very normal age to run for pres. Plus I think he needs to stay as Gov longer - he’s only in his first term.

If Kamala is such a good candidate why does who she picked even matter? VPs do nothing and she would have won Minnesota anyway. Picking a white man just reflects poorly on the party that it feels it needs to rely on a white guy to get her elected.
