Stanford, Yale, and Georgetown were also involved in that scandal. USC is a popular choice for the wealthy because it's a large private school in Los Angeles in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_college_admissions_bribery_scandal#Involved_parties_and_organizations |
You can coast as a communications major anywhere |
| Who cares |
|
Her friends could be going to that school.
More low key than east coast Her particular major Her prospective employer I can guess many possible reasons |
| The awful weather didn't help but I bet as a private school lifer she hated being at a public school. Note she transferred to private USC not public UCLA. |
What life? Covid screwed over most students the past year. |
Most of her freshman year was normal. She had seen enough of depressing Ann Arbor. Plus public U kids were being thirsty and using her for social media clout. |
Why usc and not Stanford or Pomona or hyp? It’s clear she’s going to usc for clout and vibes. Honest, I dunno why the Obama girls are attending college. They aren’t Chelsea Clinton. They don’t need college to do what they want to do |
Half of her freshman year was normal. The rest of her time was not. You’re the same troll that calls A2 depressing in every thread. |
New pp. What’s Michigan’s yield for oos kids vs cal, ucla, and usc? |
I think UCLA and Cal are about 16% oos and UM is 19%, but they also have 50% oos population compared to less than 25% at the UCs. USC is a private school, so not comparable. |
Maybe what they want to do is to have the experiences of being students - - most of their peers are doing. For many people their college years are about a lot more than ticking off a box on the way to a specific career. College also matters as a stepping stone to future options. |
You are spending an unhealthy amount of time on a message board if you think everyone is the same person. UMich shut down in mid March 2020. The semester ended April 20th. And Ann Arbor is a depressing place. Sorry you're stuck there, romaniypsieyes. |
Everyone at Michigan from California could not get into either of the three. |
USC is a vibe; palm trees, 73 degrees every day, pretty people everywhere. Ann Arbor is frankly a dump. |
