I was in AA last month. It’s an incredible college town, great restaurants, great hockey, beautiful old buildings, and everyone was so nice to us. Much fewer angry, snobbish people than on the east coast (and on this board). Now just hoping and praying dc hears good news later today or next week. |
Completely agree with this. Don’t have to worry about being bludgeoned or hacked to death in AA. Which is a plus for me personally. |
| But is Sasha a serious student. I'm asking seriously. If so, why would she transfer to USC? Is she majoring in film? |
| What's her stat |
| because realistically speaking, the world does not revolve around Cambridge or New Haven? |
what about Ann Arbor? That's where she was I believe. |
|
Sasha chose an excellent university. Why ask this?

It's a solid T30 school with great engineering, business, etc programs. It was like 24 last year. 24 27 who cares. Doesn't make any difference. The campus is beautiful and it has the #1 film school. My kid is acually in the film school. The acceptance rate was 2%, probalby the lowest of any program |
| So she transferred during her 4th year? |
What was her major in Michigan? |
She's a 20 year-old junior, right? That means 5 semesters completed at U-M, so 3 left at USC including current, which began 10 days ago. |
Weren't at least 2 of those 5 semesters at U-M remote? I thought they shut the university down. If so, the only uninterrupted semester would have been her first fall semester as a freshman and a couple of months of freshman winter semester. Covid-19 shut down happened March 2020 of her freshman winter semester. |
| I wonder if USC is easier than Michigan but still a respectable big school? Lots of celebrity children go there and it was the school people during the varsity blues scandal. It definitely gives pay to play vibes. I feel like you could coast there as a communications major (but you could probably do as well at UofM). Wonder what her major is. |
| Malia moved to LA after graduating Harvard to start her writing career. It makes perfect sense for Sasha to attend USC to be close to her. That's always ideal for close sisters. Sasha also seems to be into fashion and makeup so LA is the place for her. |
| It literally does not matter where she goes to school. She could have gone to U of M, Harvard, USC, JMU or Princeton. She’s going to have the foot in the door to do literally whatever she wants. She wants to be in LA now. Good for her. Also when the pandemic hit my guess is she took the next year off like most rich kids who want the on campus experience. |
