Apologies if this has been posted before, but I just saw this on the daily mail.

So.... NO, you can't name 1 other crime.
Get off the bandwagon, it is taking straight to hell.
|
Yes and family is LEO. It would be nice if you cared about all crime, but you don't. |
| Did you all read the warrant for their arrest? Absolutely shocking, disgusting what they did to her. Completely unacceptable and if I had a daughter attending that school, I would withdraw her immediately! Stop trying to minimize what happened to that poor girl. It was brutal. |
| +1 How can anyone defend this??? It is insane. A 14 year old girl would not have been brutally gang raped during school hours if we did not let these ILLEGALS in the school. What is there to debate??? How is our children's safety not important enough. Brutally raped, during school. |
Over 200 rapes in a year and the only crimes you know about are by Hispanics and you need to google to find them So yes I would say you don't know of other crime and yes I would say you are racist. Do you KNOW about the other 200 rapes, if not (you don't so font pretend you do) why not. Why don't you care? |
You could say the same about boys. This girl would not be raped if we did not let boys in the school. You can't blame a whole group of people for the actions of a few. |
All rapes are brutal. Have you read the other 200 rape reports? Why not? |
One was from El Salvador, the other from Guatemala. |
To me the problem is the school is not ensuring adequate security in general. If not these students, then some others could have committed the same crime in the same HS. Seems like MCPS is not ensuring a safe physical environment. Do they not monitor the halls? How did no one hear hear screams for help? If Rockville HS is not adequately secure, what about all the other MCPS schools also? Very interesting that no statements so far from: MCPS, MoCo Council, County Exec, nor Board of Ed. Are they doing anything to ensure our schools are safe? |
You CLEARLY did not read the warrant report. And you CLEARLY have no children enrolled in public schools. |
I'm talking about the safety of our schools. OF course I care about 200 rapes. I also care about about murders. I also care about the hundreds of injustices that happen around the world. But in this thread, we are talking about the safety of MCPS which I happen to care very deeply about because it is where my 2 daughters happen to attend. Get it? And yes, I get that things can't be prevented sometimes but in this case I am outraged that MCPS has allowed a MAN, yes an 18 year old MAN who is a known illegal immigrant to enroll in 9th grade in a public school. Are you seriously telling me that I don't have a right to be pissed about that? What is wrong with YOU? |
As one with Hispanic heritage, you are NOT offending me at all. These illegals need to be vetted - absolutely! We don't even know if they really are the age they purport to be. |
I'm confused. Are you saying this crime is just a fluke that happened and is unlikely to happen again despite the face that 22 year olds could potentially be in high schools with 13 or 14 year olds? Many people have given you examples of how their lives have been threatened. Gang violence is rampant - there was the girl from Gaithersburg HS who was recruited for MS-13 and then murdered (Damaris Reyes case), and the six murders in MoCo linked to gang violence last year. But you continue to support the current policy of MCPS? Do you actually have kids in public school? |
No, but it's silly to think that you can put a newly arrived 18 year old MAN (who has already broken the law) and who does not speak English into a school with 14 year old girls and think it's a good idea. If you want to support illegal immigration, then figure out an alternative program for these boys. But the current system is NOT working. It is not racist to identify a problem and try to make things better. |
