With Love, Meghan on Netflix

It is unfortunate but it is what it is. It is good for entertainment at least. When the world is falling apart, you can watch the Kardashians or the Baldwinito's or the Markle-Mountbatten-Windsor-Sussexes and forget about the real drama.

I think Harry would have been fine not getting attention and just doing the rounds of his existing charities. He was never so happy as when he was just one of the guys in the military.

I’m curious what jobs people think these two could get out of the public eye. What skills do they have?

People already mentioned it, but I think she dresses nicely. She could have partnered with Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's for a line of linen shirts and dresses, expanded into jewelry. Something like affordable-ish luxury for MC/UMC. Harry has absolutely no skills or use.

I agree with you on Meghan. Her collaboration for that British fashion charity was nice.

Disagree Harry has no use. He served in combat.

Cannon fodder without the ability to enter the officer’s corps despite extreme hand-holding and forcing an art history prof to pass him to graduate high school does not suggest much in the way of a career for Harry.

Meghan should be able to create the illusion of a waistline if she’s so great at fashion. And yet.

This is a perfect example of personal attacks. It’s fine to think the show is bad but randomly bringing up perceived flaws with her body is strange.

She has a good enough figure she was able to bag a prince at 35. Sorry you’re stuck out in, what, Springfield or Fredericksburg? with a schlub who couldn’t even partner track at a V30.

Do you see how dumb baseless personal attacks sound.

Now tell me I am so mad I’m not banging a subliterate psychologically damaged donkey-toofed bald spare! A girl in Ashburn can dream between wistful, teary sighs…

But his exes (independently rich, pretty, fit into his scene) didn’t want him. At his fittest and most decorated, they noped out of a lifelong commitment to dumb Harry.

He’s super happy now - evil family and presumably even more evil friends for life cast into his past. Love wins!

I agree. I think what Harry has really needed throughout his life is purpose and validation. Losing his mother was a tremendous loss for him in both of those arenas.

His exes didn’t want to marry him because they didn’t want be royal. It’s almost like being a royal sucks.

Btw he still spoke to his grandparents before they died and is still very close with Eugenie. The only people he is totally estranged from are Charles and William.

Sigh indeed. Because you just completely missed my point.

Nah, I got it.

There’s very limited evidence that Harry has ever had positive interpersonal relationships. The Nazi armband and cheating at school scandals weren’t things done to him.

Maybe the show will save them financially and maritally. I don’t think they escaped a prison, but they built a new and heavily mortgaged one, for sure.

Well interestingly enough, William didn’t marry an aristocrat either. The independently wealthy ones didn’t seem to want to marry into the BRF, and who can blame them. But William did choose a partner wisely - someone loyal to him, from a stable and loving family and provided him that same stability, and who understands her job as spouse to one future crown and mother to another (the latter has nothing to do with gender - Prince Philip also similarly understood his role and sacrificed his own ambitions to support his wife.)

He would have met other women as one of the world's most eligible bachelors. He would have been happier not estranged from his family and old friends.

Catherine did fit into William’s scene- they both earned college degrees and had commonalities before dating in the public eye, and having a longish engagement. Harry rushed into this and IMO it shows.

+1. Everything about her is so thirsty and desperate. They're only putting her on (streaming) TV to embarrassing and humiliate the royal family. It's a train wreck people tune in to laugh and mock her.

DP. Your point was stupid and just an excuse to breathlessly attempt to put down PP because she dared say something against your idol. You’re the definition of a pick me girl and woman hater, just like narcissistic Meghan.

The British media is BRUTAL in general. They just pick your weak spot and exploit it. The racism was inexcusable, but so was the fat shaming of fergie, the cruelty of exposing Charles infidelity, and the "waity katie" bit for kate.

It's arrogant, myopic, and selfish for MM to portray the media as specifically cruel to HER. They are cruel to everyone.

I think they were essentially asked to leave and she had to make an excuse as to why.

Come on. Exposing a mistress or saying “waity Katie” is NOT the same as hate-fueled racism. Can’t you see that?? With Meghan they could’ve gone after the fact that she was an actress, or they could’ve just made fun of the fact that she was an American, who didn’t know their customs, or something other than her race.
