How is the Supreme Court confirmation going to go?

I'm so glad that "owning" a "lib" Senator with a deceased Justice's words, when that Justice has been dead not even a month, is giving you such joy, and is now apparently the purpose of Senate confirmation hearings and the highest court in our country. Do you even hear yourself?

I've subscribed to the economist from 1988 until November 2016 when their apolitical free market approached changed to globalism with leaders who protected it. PP just proved why I deleted my subscription.

All the conservatives are out in full force in this thread. I thought DCUM leaned left.

This is holder her own?

No, she is a political hack with minimal jurist experience or curiousity. It is so sad the the bar in our country has been lowered to the idea that people like Judge Barrett or Justice Kavanaugh are keen intellectuals.

Gorisch, Roberts? Sure.

These two, not so much.

What a giant waste of time this is.

Why is a hearing for one of 9 Justices on our highest court a waste of time?

She’s unqualified, she’s lying - and unless Graham or Lee ends up in the hospital and can’t vote, she’s getting confirmed. The GOP is anti democracy.

This. Because the decision was made before she was even named. This is just going through the motions.

Does she think black people are happy to be called the n-word or something? Based on historical precedent of slavery and segregation?
