I’m really sad that the posts got deleted in the site crash last night that were writte by the pp who did the research on all the repellent opinions and speeches that Amy gave that were somehow magically scrubbed from the internet.

Here's the crazy thing about the Republican Court Strategy. If their Supreme Court majority succeeds in limiting federal authority and giving the states free rein to revert to a 1950s Southern-style corporate sponsored authoritarian police state, it will hurt any red states that do that. People who don't want to live in an oppressive state will start moving to the West Coast, Northeast, and Upper Midwest, as millions of people did from 1920 to 1970.

I think this is a feature, not a bug.

They want to de-populate and be extremely low/no tax. They will still get fiscal transfer from blue states. Hard right conservatives will come to dominate the Senate.

Their goal is to create a bunch of Wyoming’s that yield outsized conservative power.

Did Schumer even try to stop this? For a great and learned statesmen, he got the prison shower treatment from Mitch. So did all the senate dems.

Yes, they tried. Great learning is of no use when the majority just ignores the rules. Republicans will forget what they did, but Democrats will not forget.
