Where has it been reported that he refused a BAC? I thought that alcohol/drugs had been ruled out but apparently not...? You can see on the video that he wasn't stumbling around completely blotto - he moved with purpose. I don't think this happened because he was impaired. You don't drop a baby out of an 11 story window just because you had a few drinks or whatever. What he did makes absolutely no sense. |

The cameras did exactly what they were meant to do. Yes, the footage is grainy but it is clear enough to show what happened. That poor, sweet, innocent little baby, it's heartbreaking. |

Sadly, I have to agree. He can no longer keep up his charade of not knowing the window was open. There’s no way he can come out of this looking good. |

When the camera captured the view from the railing and then pointed straight down, I got the chills. The toddler had to have been terrified being dangled out by one hand. It looked like a long way down for a toddler and on the hard concrete. Those nearby will never be able to escape what they saw either.

Apparently the ship stayed docked longer than planned for the investigation, but did set sail later that evening and continued with the cruise as planned. I can't imagine! How could the other passengers just go enjoy themselves on the rest of the trip, knowing what just happened? I'm sure EVERYONE's trip was ruined. |

Very few people saw it. And it’s not like they made an announcement and shared the gory details. We got off the ship the morning it happened and spent a few days in PR afterwards. We saw a lot of local media coverage, but nobody on the ship saw it (cruise tv is very limited). |

The video doesn’t actually show her fall. You can’t actually see her out the window either. You just see him lift her...presumably outside...but you can’t actually see it. |

I took a cruise in the mid-2000s and a passenger from another ship docked at the same time as us, but from a different cruise line and headed to different ports, killed herself by jumping off a balcony. The other cruise set sail more or less on time and nobody heard about it until after we were back in port a week later. So I’m sure most people on the cruise had no idea. I can’t watch the video. Nope. |

| The video is not at all graphic. You just see grainy images of them going over to the window, him leaning out and then picking up Chloe and leaning out again. You don't see her fall or anything else traumatic. The main thing that the video shows is that Grandpa did know that the window was open and he was aware that it was open when he leaned out of it with Chloe. |

It would be better if the son-in-law police officer who demanded RC 'seal the scene' and blamed them - took his FIL out into the yard and shot him. |
