Every time this story comes up I'm more and more disgusted by the family and lawyer

And who on earth thinks it is cool to let toddlers bang on windows anyway?

I agree. I felt horrible for this entire family when I first heard of this but the more details that come out and the more they press to get money out of this horror the less sympathy I feel for them.

Agree. It's awful, and it continues to be awful in different ways.

You don’t have to read it. Such a childish response.

Because that's sooooooo old! He probably doesn't know what day of the week it is.

It's not your cruise ship, why do you care?

Toddlers kick all the time. I am guessing she kicked off of the railing, and that was that.

So you think you should be able to hold a baby in an open window and then get money when the baby kicks and slips out of your grip? Like there was no way that good ole grandpa could have seen that one coming?

When Grandpa grew up they didn't have cruise ships with 11 stories. You can't expect him to be able to adapt.

I'm older than Grandpa, hells yeah I understand what being 11 stories up means. I just can not fathom what that man was thinking - I've tried. There simply is no excuse.

Grandpa clearly deliberately lifted her him so she could feel the air/breeze, and lost his grip. Don't dangle toddlers out of windows and then blame someone else for your stupidity.

Agree that the whole kid was used to banging on hockey glass rationale doesn't make sense. There was no reason to LIFT her so she could allegedly bang on the glass. Cruise ship window panel started from the floor. This line of excuse is total bullshit lie someone came up with after the fact.

Even if he DID truly believe the window was closed, the lawsuit is totally out of line. RCI could and should countersue.

It's loud and obnoxious to everyone else around them.

You've never been on a cruise ship, I take it?
