They’ll demand she give the child up for adoption. Just watch what happens. Force little girls to give birth and steal their children. This is nothing new. |

Watching the hearing The Threat to Individual Freedoms in a Post-Roe World just now. If you have a chance, watch Swallwell's questioning. The GOP's witness tries to claim that under the Ohio law, a 10-year-old terminating a pregnancy from rape isn't an "abortion" She flatly says that. Of course, we all know it is because abortion is a MEDICAL TERM that means ending a pregnancy, no matter the cause. Besides the gaslighting, why not just say the girl will get an amazing life lesson to be a mother or that her baby will add to the domestic supply of infants.
But no, she lies and gaslights instead. And this folks is how we no they know what they are doing is highly unpopular but are doing so anyway. F anyone who votes for these monsters. You think your daughter is safe but rape is VERY, Very, common. |
My dd is 16, but thinking about her at that age, just, damn. This made me tear up. She literally just texted me asking if I’d order a pillow pet that’s on sale. At 10, she had a bed full of stuffed animals, still pretended to believe in Santa, totally rocked fractions but had trouble remembering where to put the decimal when multiplying, and would still reach for my hand when we crossed the street if her friends weren’t around. She was engrossed in the Warriors cats book series (I remember her crying when one of the cats died), and had stopped reading The Hunger Games series because she didn’t like the violence. There’s no reality, no circumstance, no way of thinking that makes it ok to require her to try to carry a pregnancy to term, deliver a baby, and deal with postpartum care, on top of the trauma of rape. Thinking about her losing her privacy in the process and having to further protect her from conservative a-holes who don’t believe her or think we forced her to commit murder instead of helping her heal, it’s beyond infuriating. It’s like salt in the wound knowing that this isn’t exactly uncommon, and that the frequency goes up among children with special needs. |
And further, lets say that the story was proved not to be true. Do you really think that the circumstances are so outlandish that no story like that would not be true? I mean - we sadly have child rape - that isn't in dispute. 10 year olds can unfortunately get pregnant. And Ohio has put a ban on abortions into place. Why is the story so unbelievable to you that you have to potentially revictimize this child? What do you gain from it? |
Yeah, I’m a political moderate who has voted for Republicans in the past, and I used to think that the Democrats were being pretty hypocritical about the sex assaults by Republicans because there are plenty of sex assaulter amongst the Democrats too. But the aftermath of the Roe decision has shown to me that this issue of Republican child rapists is deeply part of the party. They really, as a group, support child rape. It’s horrifying to watch. I’m probably not going to vote Republican again in my lifetime, barring serious restructuring of the party. I can’t stomach it. Between the enthusiastic cheerleading for child rape (my God!!), the insurrection, and the blind allegiance to the gun lobby, I can’t see how I could ever vote for them. |
But they’re more concerned about … I’m not even sure anymore. Seems like they’re hell bent on creating a dystopia. People need to stop voting for the animals that think we should all get to put these kinds of decisions up for votes. |
The cruelty is the point. They are sociopaths. |
As someone else put it, "they don't care who gets hurt as long as the sluts get punished." |
|
If Republicans don't care about children dying in school shootings, they're not going to care about them getting pregnant. It's all God's will.
Red states already have the highest teen pregnancy rate. But it's been declining, so now it can go back up. |
| They are now doxxing the doctor who helped the ten year old. They are pure evil. |
We know they already insist that the rapist has a right to custody once the victim is forced to carry, nourish and subsequently give birth |
This is beyond my ability to understand. |
| This little girl’s life should not be subject to the whims of voters. Dems need to expand the court so we have enough justices to overturn Dobbs and reaffirm the basic human right to end an unwanted pregnancies. This cannot happen again and again. |
Let me explain it: they want to make sure that no future doctor ever dares to publicly say this type of thing happens. They want to avoid any media scrutiny of the effect of their laws. |
Thank you, that makes sense. I forgot how evil these people are for a minute. |
