Yes, there were 2 or 3 schools that had low numbers wanting to return. By the vast majority of her schools overwhelmingly chose in person. Her district had the largest numbers of schools wanting in person. Her job is to represent the majority of her constituents, and she failed at that. |
So why didn’t you try recalling her? Why are you complaining that other people are taking action against ineffectual SB members?
DP |
Do you have the numbers on that? |
| Cherry Run is her home school and it had the highest % of people wanting in-person for elem in the county at the time of the first decision. After the re-eval it was an even higher percentage. |
| I happily signed the Omeish one already at the farmers market a few weeks ago. |

I saw online that Cohen petitions will be outside Gkory Days this evening
Someone eles might have the times. |
| I don't live in the FCPS district, but want to wish all of you luck with this. I'm so glad that people are finally starting to hold these dictatorial, incompetent school board members accountable for the lives that they damage. |
If what you’re saying is true, that she failed to do her job and represent the will of her constituents, it’s rather perplexing that after all these months you still haven’t been able to come up with the 4000 constituent signatures necessary for a recall. |
TJ’s previous admissions policy may have been color blind, but it favored the economically-advantaged. Those who could afford tutors to prep for TJ got in. FWIW, there are similar schools across the country that favor a model more like the current model whose aim is to offer advanced education across a broader population and they are as successful as TJ. It can work. |
Thank you. Here, as elsewhere, there are growing numbers of disaffected, dissatisfied parents, along with the sycophants who monitor websites like this one and disparage anyone challenging the lunacy of the far-left school boards. |
And those numbers don’t account for the systemic racism. |
No her job is to represent all the constituents and a person who can do her job would help those who need it the most first. |
| I think the absolute worst one is Dog Park Cryin' Karl. No one is trying to recall him? God white men get such a pass on everything. |
| Karl was the worst, agreed. He did not care about education AT ALL. |
