I hate these people will all of my being. Nothing gets my blood boiling more. Why do you think it's ok to cut in line?? Would you do it at the grocery store?
It’s not like the grocery store.
There’s no “line.” If there are two lanes and one is backed up for miles, I’m going to cruise up closer to the exit and take a gap. I’m breaking no laws and endangering no one. It’s easy to find a gap these days since many of you are looking at your phones anyway. Now THAT’S the real danger.
Uh, that "backed up for miles" is called a line. I agree that people shouldn't be looking at their phones, but two wrongs don't make a right - you are an entitled, selfish jerk. And probably a Maryland driver.
No, that’s not a “line.” There’s no such traffic control or motor vehicle definition. And I’m breaking no law.
That’s the point. Nobody has to let me in. The natural flow of traffic will easily accommodate more vehicles slipping into the gaps than that single column of vehicles backing up in the right lane. Anyway, when you aggressively speed up to try to block me, all you’re doing is creating a nice gap behind you for me to slide into, so thank you very much!
You may not be breaking a law. But I’m not breaking a law when I don’t let you merge either. I’m not letting you in. Some sucker will, but it won’t be me.
