My cousin works not in the DMV and has a FR position with the TSA. She’s a single parent to a 2 year old, and is responsible, reserved, kind. She should be in this position because you think it’s hilarious to have someone CURRENTLY working for zero pay in national security because you think it’s just marvelous to joke about six more years.

The cruelty of you supporters - don’t bother lying, it’s unbecoming - is f-cking amazing.

With all the rants, schadenfreude and hate for Trump and the GOP over the last three years, might I ask how do you like it?

The joke is on all of you as well, if you had the intelligence to see it.

He has folded on pretty much everything else. Why not this?

Actually, he won last year’s shutdown crisis over DACA. No reason to believe he won’t win again. I think he realizes that shutdowns are one of his most effective tools.

Huh?

How did he win?

DACA receipients still have protection provided through court ruling and he does not have the $25B Chuck Schumer was willing to offer. That’s in my book is called not winning!

Right. The Dreamers have temporary protection via court order, not a permanent legislative fix. The Senate Democrats insisted on a legislative solution during last year’s shutdown, but then eventually folded. So the President won that round.

How did Trump win? He gave up 25 billion and is now begging for 5 billion or less.

Rome wasn’t built in a day. $5 billion is a great start. Assuming he will be in office six more years (we shall see), it will be fully funded. He will of course campaign on it again next year, which is all the more reason he can’t afford to (and won’t) lose this fight.

Are you obtuse? He gave up 5 times more money than he is scrounging for now. Why?
Is he again going to campaign on Mexico paying for the wall? It takes a special kind of stupid to be a Trump supporter.

Actually you're a little obtuse.

1. The 25B number D's are throwing around was an appropriation, not a penny of it funded. He didn't walk away from anything, it was an empty envelope.

2. DACA was found unconstitutional. It's still in place only under a temporary stay. Keep holding your breath.

3. Mexican's currently remit 50M per year to mexico. DT has the authority to put a tax on that (say 10%) and fully fund the wall.

I think you need to do the math of a 10% tax on 50M per year.

Special kind of narcissist? That is possibly the funniest statement all day.

King Narcissist is the one crying for a wall and throwing a temper tantrum until he gets it. While holding more than just the feds without paychecks hostage.

My cousin works FT literally to keep this country safe and is unpaid because Trump lied lied LIED about Mexico and the wall. Since 2015, he’s lied remorselessly. He’s led cell and response chants about who’s gonna pay for it? MEXICO! - for literally more than two calendar years. I don’t even know if she voted for HRC. She’s never posted in a political message board in her life.

What the everlovkng f!ck did SHE do to deserve this stress? While you sneer, SHE is working for actual homeland security.

I’m really sorry about your cousin. I’m sorry about the secret service officers who are charged with protecting Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka, Jared and Eric with their life and aren’t get paid for their troubles. I’m sorry for one of my relatives who is a federal government employee doing important medical research which will be lost because he can’t get into his office during the shutdown. This is banana republic level government not the actions of the world’s only superpower.

Well you certainly have your pantries today in a twist over a cousin who seems to be apolitical. Have you asked how she feels or are you projecting?

One dear friend has a nephew who is a CO in a federal facility— also not in or around D.C. He works and is in college, so essentially he has no free time. The center has held nationally and internationally infamous persons during pretrial phases, and it be work is obviously stressful. And now this 25 year s whi is trying to finish his bachelors now gets to do this for no pay!

Disgusting that the law and order party laughs at this.

I think you need to do the math of a 10% tax on 50M per year.

Ha ha. Yes, let's see. That's 5M per year. It will only take a thousand years to get to 5 billion dollars! That doesn't include the wall maintenance.

I wonder if the 10% Mexican remittance tax is a Fox News talking point. I would imagine that their viewers would be challenged by the division problem. Too many zeroes for them.

Yes the food pantries are certainly experiencing more demand than usual because 1 million American workers aren’t getting paid the way they expected to be. No one likes being forced to work without pay. That’s why slavery was outlawed.

False. With the GoFundMe money they’re raising, they’ll have it covered in fewer than 700 years.
