Clarksburg had some serious white flight in the last 10 years. It is an issue. Maybe not for you, but for others that overpaid up there, it sure was. Huh? My kids go to Wilson Wims and we are extremely happy. We love living in Clarksburg. Don’t move there if you don’t like it—isn’t it great that we have choices about where to live?

I live in Clarksburg and have kids at Little Bennett and in one of the middle school. I’m extremely happy with the area and the school.

Little Bennett is an amazing school. If we hadn’t moved for my husbands job, we would have moved into the neighborhood that feeds into that community.

Magruder maybe but Gaithersburg ? No it has almost has 50% farms. But I would choose magruder or Clarksburg over Gaithersburg any day !

I don’t think that they are fake - it’s more like they want decent schools for their kids and some return on the investment of buying a house.

Magruder maybe but Gaithersburg ? No it has almost has 50% farms. But I would choose magruder or Clarksburg over Gaithersburg any day !

Magruder has 33% FARMS and Gaithersburg 40% FARMS

How could Clarksburg have some serious white flight in the last 10 years when most of the residents of Clarksburg only moved to Clarksburg within the last 10-15 years?

Plus, as another PP says, even if it did, so what? There have been plenty of people of "random diversity" (whatever that means) moving in. If that's something you don't like, then don't move to Clarksburg.
