Breaking news: election worker who gets paid $80-150/day for an 8-hour shift was not totally polite when OP handed her an item that the judge did not request.

My comment has to do with the availability of identification card. I think this is something the state can do something about and give those out for free. The state gives out so much money for so many other things the least they can do is be able to provide identification cards for those who can’t afford it? Even with the person’s basic name photo birthday ( for those who are homeless ). Does anybody know why this can’t be an option ?

ID cards in MD are $1 for people who are homeless. It's more the documentation requirements that are a hindrance. Those are required by the federal Real ID act -- MD can't do anything about those really.

We're in MD. Someone has been voting using my husband's information for the past several elections. He is always made to vote provisionally. Why do you think if she came after him, he'd "be discovered" and his ballot would be tossed? Why wouldn't they have her vote provisionally, like they do my husband?

And did not check ID when there was no need. And voting in MD is off the charts this election so they are trying to keep lines moving.

Report it and his voter record will be flagged as ID needed.

Most people don't even bother to vote -- how many are really going to try to vote multiple times with assumed names? And, if you're using your neighbors info, how long do you think it is before one of the poll workers recognizes that you have voted more than once?

you can vote early in any center that allows early voting then show up to you your own precinct on Election Day . Could vote as my neighbors spouse early at another early voting center. Voter fraud is real

Great, so you've manage to get 1-2 extra votes in for a lot of effort. Wouldn't it be easier just to campaign to a legit voter and get them to vote your way, or even just pay them off?

For those so concerned about voter fraud in MD, you can be an election watcher or challenger. Here's how:

in off elections there are very small turnouts do every vote matters. Imagine if you had a Union gunning for a particular candidate.
