When she came to vote, you'd be discovered and they'd toss your ballot. Conversely, if you came saying you were her but she'd already voted, they'd deny you.
and if she hadn’t voted iWorks be able to vote her ballot. Most people don’t vote so this enablers voter fraud

I agree. They asked me my name, address, and month/day of my birthdate. I could provide so many names, addresses and month/day of my friends. How is voter fraud prevented?
And you can easily find out their voting orevint fir Election Day knowing that info. Just search on the elections webpage and you know where to vote . The only risk is if that person already voted but I doubt they prosecute . They probably try to find politically inactive people and vote those or recently dead people

why refuse to see it? What if I can’t speak and can’t State my name?anyone could vote for anyone else

Stop stirring up **** OP.
I too showed my ID, and the election official glanced at it and just mentioned she didn't need it. And if you couldn't speak, then clearly she would have looked at your documentation to make it easier for you. But you could speak, so she didn't.
she didn’t say she didn’t needed to see it she refused to even look at it and insisted I state name dob and address

But, many people do not choose to vote, so it's pretty easy to vote under someone else's name.

I have voted in Maryland for the past several years, and agree that they do NOT look at your ID at our polling place.
its like they were told to in no circumstance look at photo ID. She literally revulsed when I tried handing it to her.

I am French and over there everyone is obligated by law to have a National Identity Card, even children. It is understood that not everyone will have a driver's license or passport, so a nationally recognized, secure ID with photograph is necessary for all official paperwork and voting.

I wish there was such a system here. Then there wouldn't be any accusations of fraud or laxity.

democrats think that’s racist

Do you know their DOB and party affiliation too? You do have to answer those questions.

They can challenge you and make you vote provisional. You still get your vote recorded but it goes through an extra verification process.
this was general election so they didn’t ask party affiliations. Just name dob and address

They are supposed to ask. They can ask anything listed on the voter authority card that they have on file for you.

Because you weren’t challenged. If you were challenged, they’d ask for ID. If you could provide it, they’d let you vote regularly. If not, you would get a provisional. Some voter authority cards say “show ID” and for those people, they are required to show ID.

I don’t get why you care so much? They are told to tell people ID isn’t necessary. Rifling through your stuff may take too long and hold up a line.

Or maybe she was just a little awkward in the way she did it. It’s hard to get sufficient numbers of election judges with early voting. So many are first tiimers.

Because someone will complain of unfair or uneven treatment if the poll worker deviated from the standard procedure.

Consistency is important in elections. Some voters are flagged as needing to show ID and others aren't. The poll worker should follow procedure exactly to ensure fairness for all.

(My father is an election judge in MoCo).

As for why they don't require ID in all cases, that would disenfranchise voters. For example, there are a number of Amish living in MD and they are against photos, so they are unlikely to have photo ID.
