It was just something generic about Trump. Like he's a jerk.

Very disappointed she chose a man...and a white man at that.

Let's try to get the first woman president first and then we can do women president, vice-president ticket. Give it time.

Yeah, nothing ground-breaking already in having a woman at the head of a major ticket. SMH.

Hillary and Kaine have surprisingly good team chemistry. They seem to genuinely like each other as people and share the same values. Hillary's almost glowing up there... such a difference from Trump/Pence awkward air kissing.

This has to be a troll.

I'm not white (though mixed), not Christian, though I am a woman - and I'm trilled with her choice. I supported Obama all through the primaries in 2008, and voted for him twice (or 3 times, if you count the primaries)

As much as I'd love to see a Muslim-born but presently atheist Multi-racial transgender, disabled or differently-abled presidential ticket where both candidates have ethnically/gender ambiguous names, there are things to still be gained here. Give it a rest.

+1. Kaine seems to bring out the best in Clinton. She looks genuinely happy to have him as part of her ticket.

Trump can't stand to share a stage with anyone, with the possible exception of Ivanka, whom he likes to paw. Pence is a necessary evil for him.

That's a real tan.

Completely agree with PPs -- Kaine humanizes Hillary. He's her Biden -- someone totally qualified, smart and personable who clearly respects and likes her. She relaxes next to him and that makes her more likeable.

This is going to be fun.

I'm pretty excited as a former Delawarean and a current Virginian to potentially have 2 of my senators be VP, back to back. Pretty cool.

You make her sound like a crazed animal who needs to be domesticated.

They really have great political chemistry. I got hope back after the RNC shitshow.

I didn't think he had the mojo. That speech! I had not heard him speak before. They look connected, he and she, a real team.

I wish he was running for POTUS and not VP...
