Links to these comments, please. I'd be happy to go to a School Board meeting and read some of them out loud. |
They're all listed under the petition. Instead of hitting "sign" scroll down to where it says "supporters." All kinds of gems out there. Many who aren't even local. |
| You can sign the petition without your name being shown on the net. |
Obviously some people are happy to associate themselves with it. |
Are you ashamed of your beliefs? Trying to hide them from people? If you are a bigot, be loud and proud of it (so I know where my kids are not allowed to play). |
| I am thinking we need a petition in support of the county policies. But the real thing is we need to vote in school board elections. |
| This is like starting a petition that "All Lives Matter." |
#BigotFeelingsMatter? |
| But at the point this petition is presented to the school board, it becomes subject to FOIA, right? So cowards who sign anonymously will eventually have their names made public? I wonder if there is a way to break it down by school ir zip? |
| The people leaving their names seek to overlap with the pearl clutchers who speak at these meetings so I guess they aren't embarassed to be bigots. |
As written, the policy only protects the rights of the transgendered. Where is the protection for the rights of the rest of us? |
What right do you think is infringed upon? Your right to be transphobic? |
They really should be ashamed, as some of their fellow sympathizers in bashing LGBT students are on other websites threatening School Board members with physical violence. Thought they might like to know that when they put their names on these petitions they are associating with criminal thugs. I'll be checking to see which ones are arrested first. |
I bet you are one of those people who argue that white people are discriminated against. |
Umm, no it's not. Get ready to lose in court big time. The Education Department's "interpretation" of the law has all the force of toilet paper. |
