Happened to us, too - strange to drop one spot on the waitlist within an hour

Matched family accepts a spot and pulls up a sibling.

Other people accepted a match at that school for a different grade and that pulled a sibling up the list ahead of you.

How can someone "accept" a spot yet? I thought you have to visit the school with forms.

Do they ever make public how deep certain schools and grades went into their waitlists in previous years or do we have to piece that all together ourselves through anecdotes and second hand gossip?

I don't think so. But if anyone knows differently do tell.

Thanks for the registration clarification PP's. Any thoughts on if these are decent chances? Number is slightly higher at DCB than stokes... But have stokes ranked higher. Should I re-rank? Does inspired teaching have more PK4 spots than the immersion schools?

Def not Cap City or Hearst. Maybe Bridges.

IT has only the number of spots that current PK3 will leave.

What are good numbers for 5th grade Latin? Low twenties?

Don't think it will be easy to get into SS. Their test scores are quite good and the new location will probably mean folks won't be shopping around. Don't think we have a chance. Our DC is #75 for PreK4. Oh well!

Single digits.

It is a small school and there are just not enough decent middle school seats.
