Last year for Hyde PK3 we were 3rd on the WL, and got in by June. I am not sure whether the WL moved anymore after us.

Good to know we're not last on the list. We're #54.

We're in the 120s. You're fine.

Any chance of getting in, do you think?

Depends on whether they take any new kids for first this year. They may as they are opening a new elementary class next year but this year they only took first graders whose younger siblings pulled them in. I know they prefer not to back fill at this point because of the difficulty in integrating kid without Montessori experience. Worth a call to the school next week. Good luck!

Hmmm there was a recent thread where they claimed that Lee did accept kids at all grade levels. So in pratice it's just a few siblings, since it's so difficult to integrate new kids into Montessori. Good to know.

Well nothing on DCUM is definitive! Calling the school will be more helpful. But the above is accurate about last year. With a new elementary class planned for next year it's definitely possible they will add more kids.

About as good as ours at #415

Since there aren't that many open spots in PK4 classrooms, do the waitlists move much less than in PK3? We are >10 on the waitlists in Mundo Verde and Creative Minds. Chances?

Post-lottery applicants with a higher preference (e.g., sibling)
