I’m OP, and don’t understand why people are hating on this poster, aside from 105 being very thin for that height. I used to skip breakfast all the time because I wasn’t hungry. I stopped doing that because I read about the drawbacks. I usually didn’t like to eat before a morning run unless it was a long run. And I was never hungry right after running so I would be fine with that schedule, if the run ended at say 9am and lunch was at 11. |
The "green juice" poster is active on here and also makes a meal out of 6 walnut halves.
I eat whole oats with walnuts and fresh berries every day, plus lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert. I do light strength 3x per week and 60 to 75 minutes of cycling 5x per week. I like eggs, but not at 5:45 in the morning! Im 5'4 and 120, not trying to lose, though. |
People are dunking on her because she "eats" a liquid breakfast, then has a tiny lunch (how many calories are TWO EGGS?), and she's massively underweight, not just "very thin." That's a BMI of 16.9. No one should listen to that poster. |
People are hating on her because she has an eating disorder and she’s urging other people to emulate her. She’s not in a position to give advice to anyone or act as an example. 2 eggs is not too many from most people, nor is it an unreasonable breakfast. |
I've eaten oatmeal for breakfast 75% of the current century.
When I eat eggs, it is more often on the occasional day when we have "breakfast for dinner." Orange juice, pancakes, sausage, the whole deal. |
Oatmeal doesn’t keep me full for very long. I either need to add protein powder or make overnight oats with Greek yogurt.

If you are trying to lose weight, skip the cheese and the buttered toast. Add sautéed veggies to your eggs, or if there isn't time, add salsa.
For oatmeal, make with fat free (or reduced fat) milk (definitely not whole milk), and add some fruit. Dice an apple and add it, or a peach or even a banana. Cinnamon if you like. No nuts, no brown sugar or maple syrup |
I really like overnight oats. I'll add some chia seeds (I don't like them on their own but they work in overnight oats for me). I'll add whatever fruit I have, so some peaches recently. |
+1 I don't know why people would come on here and so confidentially say things that aren't true. Like, if you aren't positive, don't post. My cardiologist agrees with this poster that there is no proof that dietary cholesterol is bad for our hearts. He also prescribes and I take a statin. Zero side effects after 20 years. Cholesterol is crazy low (but I have terrible family history) and he tells me to enjoy as many eggs as I would like for breakfast. I just so happen to have two every morning. I also have yogurt and half an avocado. |
