Kate spending time with "birth family"

Most of the people I’ve known who had cancer while still in their working years continued working, at least part time, while undergoing treatments. Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Alex Trebek are two examples of wealthy people who nevertheless worked throughout cancer treatment.

Kate is either taking full advantage of her royal privilege by quitting work entirely, or her cancer is very much more serious than her announcement let on.

Oh, for God sake. Ruth Bader Ginsburg kept working because our democracy was at stake.
Alex Trebek didn’t have a very hard job.
Most people who have cancer who keep working do it because they need the money desperately, not because it’s actually good for their health to do so. We don’t need Kate out cutting ribbons instead of taking care of her health and her children while she has cancer.

Aren’t the kids still in school?

I think it's lovely that she has the support of her family. Why is this a problem?

If William isn’t working, he isn’t dropping kids off to school, and he is not with Kate or the Middletons, what is he doing ?

And we were all appropriately chagrined when it turned out she had cancer and we were reminded that even though they put themselves in this weird public position and then make inconsistent or perhaps unreasonable calls for privacy, the most important thing is that we’re all responsible for our own behavior even if it feels harmless to speculate online.

I was not chagrined! Their deception created the gossip.

Precisely. Kensington Palace lied and stood firmly on their lies for months only to backtrack and retract their previous claims . “Kate does not have cancer!”
“Kate looks forward to returning to public duty in the spring”. “William is on the school run and taking care of Kate”

Now Kate is surrounded specifically by “birth family”. That’s a round about way of saying her husband isn’t there with her

Again: this is NOT an announcement. This is a tip from sources.

The cancer was discovered a month later, and the chemo is “preventative” after the surgery. There’s no such thing as preventative chemo as Dr. Sanjay Gupta even awkwardly called out during the CNN story about Kates initial announcement about cancer. BBC couldn’t confirm or deny if green screen or picture editing was used for Kates announcement and also the Palace made it clear William was not there during the filming of the video. Odd. Why would he not be there to support his wife. Trying to protect the monarch in case the video received the same backlash as Photo Gate?

Something tells me they’re hiding a scandal. Kate and Will are no longer together and the kids are not living at Kensington Palace .

If Kate and Wm are no longer together, the kids most certainly will be staying with the BRF. Kate will get visitation.

Birth family is an odd distinction to make . Camilla is by Charles side during his battle with cancer. Where is William?

His excuse this time for not working is the care of the three kids even though no convoys from Kensington Palace were ever spotted driving in the last few months to the kids’ school and/or activities. He’s living alone there

Whenever anyone among my friends or family has been seriously ill, we’ve all rallied around them. Babysitting, cleaning, making meals, just talking. Kates family is supposedly very close, so I don’t know why they felt the need to write this article. I already assumed they were helping. Raises more questions I guess.

They've lived apart for a long time, most notably for the bulk of Covid where she was with her "birth family" and he was holed up solo so I don't see why this is news or they would put this out there, it's basically their norm.

Would you rather be with paid help?

I'd probably want to be with my spouse?

Really? My mother would 100% provide me better care and more TLC than my husband (not offense to my husband!). But a mother’s care is priceless, even at our age.

Why shouldn't she? I sure as hell would. Also, as far as I know, RBG and Alex Trebek did not have three young children. You sound like a jerk.

Stop acting like Kate has literally zero help and no privacy. She has an entire private estate on which to roam with cooks, maids and Nannies at her beck and call. She is not some Average woman going through chemo with real life scenarios to deal with.

If i was dying or extremely ill I’m sure i would be wondering how to spend more time working and less time with family. Priorities.

She's not a character in a soap, she's a human.

Doubtful she reads any of this.

Private secretaries and Press offices read EVERYTHING.

I didn’t because my cancer center is better than theirs… but facing chemo with young children is super daunting. I have one more round to go!

Good luck to you!! <3

+1
Don’t act like she’s some stay at home mom guys, she’s never been the primary caretaker for those children! This is not how the royal family works. Get a clue.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. One more round for you and hopefully you and your family will be celebrating your good health!

Yes, I wish the very best. I hope your treatment is successful and your recovery as swift as can be. Hugs to you, PP.
