The teams should be more competitive if they get it right, so the club is trying to be very deliberate in how they approach this year’s team make-ups.

Thanks Gerardo/Alex/Khaled et al lol

What is that supposed to mean?

Teams should add talent when available, no argument here. Whether that talent comes from external or internally.

But, ARL should be taking care of the talent that it has cultivated and family relationships they have developed and they have not accomplished that during this time period. The severe brush-off many ARL parents and kids are getting from the ARL club is bad optics and bad for morale.

Whatever is happening with McLean is not really ARL's "problem." ARL is already doing things the right way, as in, they are not the ones who lost an ECNL club or are having problems internally. Now, ARL is letting McLean's issues affect their club.

2015 B Arlington Silver (lowest team) or DCSC red 2nd dc team but equivalent to blue black for Arlington? Any advice?

Have Arl staff ghosted you too? No responses to our emails with simple questions.

Starting to wonder if it’s possible they miss the 5/22 deadline if they haven’t even gotten second team offers out yet…

As of yesterday they are still evaluating at least some second team players.

What were you basing that on?

New—but not outside new—players practicing with or guesting with top teams.

What age group?

Don’t want to give myself away but it was one of the younger groups.

We haven't heard yet. Are there others who haven't either?

My low level 2013B got his offer today, they are coming out.

2014B dropped.

For 2014B, any idea if there was an influx of outside players? We were disappointed with our son's placement and the lack of communication from ASA.

Your kid is so young that just do what makes the most logistical sense for your family.

Same here. Is your kid a current Arlington player?

Yes - current player on one of the lower teams. With pre-academy forming, we had anticipated at least one level higher, and, instead, this seems to be a demotion.

Preacademy isn't a new team it's just the renaming of the teams.
