Teams should add talent when available, no argument here. Whether that talent comes from external or internally.
But, ARL should be taking care of the talent that it has cultivated and family relationships they have developed and they have not accomplished that during this time period. The severe brush-off many ARL parents and kids are getting from the ARL club is bad optics and bad for morale.
Whatever is happening with McLean is not really ARL's "problem." ARL is already doing things the right way, as in, they are not the ones who lost an ECNL club or are having problems internally. Now, ARL is letting McLean's issues affect their club.
