Men if you could order the perfect wife/partner she would…

I’d hate to be married to someone who is perfect because I’m not thus it would be annoying.

A woman like that would be immediately branded a slut and would never seriously be considered as girlfriend or wife material. Guess what guys - when you marry a prude she may just turn out to be prudish!

I don’t know that this is true. I was a virgin until marriage and I love sex and I love when DH wants to try something new. I see a lot of posters here explain why they don’t want to have sex with their husbands and it has little to do with how much they enjoy sex and a lot to do with their relationship and their husband’s behavior. They don’t want to have sex with someone who makes them miserable. My DH does his share of the chores and parenting and makes my life easier.

Please don't call women sluts or prudes. You are part of the problem pp

Ha! I was going to say this is me, but it’s not. I am religious and expect my husband and kids to participate in services and know about their religion. I don’t consider this a “personal issue.” This is part of who we are as a family.
I like to workout outside some of the time. Sometimes the gym feels like torture.
I’m also not picky about hotels

Good luck finding a woman who will even tolerate that, let alone "enjoy."

I’m a woman and I enjoy it very much. BF and I do it about 50% of the time.

Please at least acknowledge here that what you mean is that she shares YOUR sense of humor.

DH and I have more conflict over that than just about anything else. He thinks he is so witty. I think I am very funny. We sometimes don’t agree with each others’ self perception of “sense of humor.”

One that doesn't over analyze everything

How about a man who has an ounce of self reflection?

This is the men's fantasy thread, go make your own thread! Seriously why does this forum of mostly middle aged women NEED yet another thread about men's needs and fantasies? If I didn't believe in the patriarchy before, I certainly do now.

This right here is why it’s hard to be female. Kick ass at your high earning job ladies, but be sure to submit to your man at home!

Your response is part of the problem. I never said anything about a job or career,. I know plenty of woman who don’t work who are very successful in life.

I also never used the word man or spouse, I said marriage. Prioritize marriage above everything, if your spouse does the same thing you will have a great marriage. I am not religious at all but the analysis in ever decision made centers around what is best for our marriage.

Successful at what?

Some of the replies on here remind me of how it’s ok for women to have a nearly impossible laundry list of expectations for men to meet but it’s not ok for a man to have expectations in a wife or else he is labeled a sexist. What a double standard.
