She fled the house, and a neighbor did attempt to help her, but she kept running along the beach. The neighbor called 911.

An independent autopsy found no evidence of drugs in Gilbert’s system.

He also owns homes in Nevada and South Carolina and there is data that suggests he might be linked to murders in those locations also.

Questions for lawyers and LE: the mug shot was taken by Suffolk county. He was apprehended in Manhattan. How does that work? Was he arrested by Suffolk county police in nyc with nypd cooperation or does nypd have to do it and he is turned over to Suffolk? Was he then driven all the way out to happaugue or Riverhead for the photo?

There are so many spaced out people I know, who don’t want to dig deep into anything, including their relationships. I’m not saying that’s what his poor family did, but just that lots of people live in surface moments.

A lot of people locally are saying that the ex police chief of Suffolk has ties to him and this seems to be a bigger operation. He’s the fall guy. Or at least, there is more to the story.

I think NYPD officers would get him into custody along with the Long Island detectives who were investigating. Then the LI guys would take him there to get booked.
